Fab little property in a great place with everything you could need! Greeted with prosecco, biscuits and beautiful Christmas tree, and the place smelt lovely. Well fenced garden for the dog, the bed was comfy and the heating was at your fingertips. Will be looking to come back next summer.
Would have liked some facilities to clean the dog, maybe a tap and hose, but that’s nick picking!

There was a lovely welcome pack with milk, butter, tea & coffee etc and a bottle of fizz. The Haven Lodge is ideal for a couple, it’s cosy and well decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed is comfy. It’s home from home and I will definitely stay there again in future.

Fantastic, comfortable, well kept property. Looks exactly as the photos. Good quality kitchen crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc. Private garden, good size for the dog to potter. 30 min walk to Ashbourne. Good pub food just next door. Loads of walks in the vicinity. Generous welcome pack. Lovely friendly owners with prompt responses to questions.
I didn’t dislike anything. Couple of areas could be even better: - a little more space around the bed or a softer divan in place of the wooden bed. - bathsheets for bathroom - smoke detector not sensitive to steam
