The apartment is compact but has everything you need: kitchen, living room with large sofa and bedroom with comfy bed. The owner is very hospitable and leads you to the private parking spot outside the city walls (but still in a walkable distance).

It felt chilly inside the apartment but I guess it's an advantage in summer time.

everything was awesome, the host has explained to us where we can park, he met us in the parking lot and drive us to the accommodation which is inside the city walls. He gave us recommendation what to see and where to eat. The apartment was new, nice, clean and cozy. 10/10

Our host picked up us from the bus, really nice. The apartment is small, but perfect for a couple. Everything you need is there. Lovely location, 10 minute stroll to the centre of Volterra.

Steps up to the apartment are a little narrow if you are carrying heavy luggage.

Breakfast supplies provided, flexible arrival time, lots of information about the town available, lovely views, and a very friendly and helpful owner who clearly loves his town very much - as he should! a unique location close to everything. nice views from the balcony. well equipped for making meals, coffee and tea. everything you need. the host is very nice and happy to share information about the area. we had a rental car which we parked outside of the city walls. Andrea came and picked us up and drove us to the stay.

Perfect stay

Andrea is, by far, the best host we've ever had. He picked us up at the bus station and drove us to the property. He spent some time with us explaining the history of Volterra and recommended us museums and restaurants. The property is located inside the city walls and has stunning views. It is very spacious and the bathroom seems to have been just remodeled.

El propietario nos cedió una plaza de parking, nos llevó en su vehículo al apartamento y nos atendió personalmente dándonos mucha información sobre restaurantes e historia del lugar. Se nota que quieren conseguir la mejor atención para los huéspedes. Nos sentimos como en casa gracias al cuidado exquisito que han puesto en los detalles, decoración y limpieza.

Volterra a 360°

Il panorama su tutta la vallata. Essere all'interno della stessa Fortezza Medicea e essere vicino a uno degli ingressi principali. Andrea, il proprietario, ci ha accolti come una vera guida turistica: gentilissimo, disponibile e acculturato su ogni luogo da visitare! Anche se un po' distante, avere il posto auto è comodissimo.

Essendo appunto all'interno del Centro storico, l'alloggio non è molto idoneo per persone con problemi di mobilità. Gli scalini sono molto stretti e ripidi.

Posizione splendida (sulle mura cittadine), vista meravigliosa (soprattutto dalla finestra del bagno), pulizia, parcheggio gratuito messo gentilmente a disposizione dal padrone di casa (fuori dalle mura ma molto vicino), informazioni utili su Volterra, letto super comodo

Per noi tutto ok, ma bisogna tenere conto che l' edificio è antico (è bello anche per quello) e le scale sono strette e ripide.
