About this cottage rental

Very well equipped and tastefully decorated. It is perfect for 1 or 2 couples with children (1 room + bathroom on the ground floor, 1 bedroom + mezzanine + bathroom upstairs).
Located in the heart of Brie, 25 km from the medieval city of Provins, 45 km from Disneyland and 80 km from Paris, our country cottage of 90 m2 is ideal for up to 5 people. Built in the outer part of a farmhouse Brie, housing has independent access, an outdoor garden (unfenced) and parking.

This was a real oasis of peace and quiet after days out visiting Paris, Disneyland and the local area. There was plenty of space and even horses to visit outside! Highly recommend every part of it - especially visits to Paris (park at Marles-en-Brie and check the train times!) and locally to Provins (though be warned it gets busy in the French holidays!). We very much hope we can return soon.

Great communication from the start from Elisabeth. Lovely Gite located in a small hamlet about 15 minutes from the medieval town of Provins. Beautifully peaceful next to a farm in a rural area. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Definitely deserves the all round five star ratings. Great value too

Check-in and out was easy and communication with the owner was great. Our children loved the horses and the visiting cat. A fab place to stay in the countryside.

Lovely location to relax when not visiting attractions. We used this property to visit Disneyland Paris and glad we did. Elisabeth and family were very warm and welcoming. We would definitely visit again.

Beautiful Gite 5*

We have just had a fantastic week staying here with our 3 children. Very spacious, clean, modern and good value for money. The children loved running around outside, playing on the nearby swing and talking to horse and rooster! A lovely, very rural setting but only a few minutes from the nearby villages and towns to get shops,restaurants etc. The ferra botanica in la ferte gaucher was fun and we were only 40mins away from Disney, and just over an hour from Paris. Would definitely recommend.

Elisabeth the owner was very accomodating and the local farmers were all friendly. The pond adjacent to the gite is great fun for kids as there is a swing. The location of the property is in a very rural location but is only 40 minutes from Disney, making it a great home for your stay. The property had all modern accessories and the bathrooms very modern. Overall my family and I really enjoyed staying in the property and will definitely be going back soon.

We stayed for 5 nights and wish it could have been more. The location is idyllic and the owners are delightful and so helpful and kind. The gite itself is spotless, and very comfortable, with all the amenities needed. We went to paris and disney, both took about an hour travel. book it, you won't be disappointed.

Super très bien entretenu nous étions 2 couples d amis pour 3 jours pour les médiévales de provins il y avait largement de vaisselle pour les personnes qu ils veulent cuisiner juste un petit détail il faudrait une cafetière plus grande car là on avait une petite deux tasses et quand on est 4 adultes c est pas pratique sinon tout était parfait je recommande ce gîte

We had a lovely time in this cottage. It was very clean en comfortable. The owners were very helpful. We had a private incident en needed their help. They came immidiately and helped us very well. Thank you, Elisabeth! The surroundings are beautifull with lovely views. You can enjoy the rest in your own garden. The nearest supermarket is a little drive, about 6 km's. We visited Paris by car. It was only an hour drive and we parked in the middle of Paris very easily. We also recommend the Vélorail in Ferra Botanica. And don't forgot to visit the medieval town Provins.

Vriendelijke verhuurster altijd te bereiken voor vragen Mooie badkamers en keuken. Waarbij de benodigdheden voor eerste gebruik al aanwezig zijn. Erg prettig Bedden redelijk. We enjoyed our stay in Leudon-en-Brie very much. The appartment is roomy, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. If your French is not that impressive you needn't worry as Elisabeth speaks English and Spanish as well. The area of Île-de-France is not too touristy but still there are many things to see: visiting castles such as Fointainebleau, the nearby town of Provins, and the Champagne district. In our opinion a visit to this part of France cannot be complete without tasting a glass (or more) of champagne. And Paris is not that far away. If you have children, why not visit the Parc Asterix as an alternative for Disneyland Paris? And their magic potion does exist! Only nowadays it's called Champagne! As an adult there is no need to feel ashamed if you are a big fan of our friends from Gaul. Not an area for big highlights but if you have an eye for the smaller gems of life this area is well worth a visit.

Wir hatten das Ferienhaus für 9 Tage gemietet und waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern. Wir wurden sehr nett und kompetent in gutem Englisch von der Vermieterin empfangen. Alle unsere Fragen wurden freundlich beantwortet. Das Ferienhaus ist sauber, neuwertig und komfortabel eingerichtet. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Ein DVD-Player würde das Angebot verbessern, da es allein französischsprachiges TV Programm gibt. Die Küche bot alle Annehmlichkeiten und war gut ausgestattet, die Bäder (Regendusche unten -Top!, oben Badewanne) waren sehr modern. Ein Tisch, mehrere Stühle (und Liegestühle) luden zum Frühstück unter freien Himmel ein, eine große Schaukel an einer Weide war der Lieblingsort unserer Kinder. Unsere Ausflüge nach Disneyland, Provins, Troyes, und Paris waren sehr schön und die Orte schnell zu erreichen. Der große Supermarkt ist ebenfalls mit dem Auto nur ein paar Minuten entfernt. Wir haben die Ruhe zwischen unseren Ausflügen und die Gastfreundschaft sehr genossen und können das Ferienhaus und die Vermieter nur empfehlen.

Zwar etwas außerhalb dennoch im Umkreis von 4 -17 km alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erreichbar. Es war alles sehr sauber ,die Küche groß und sehr gut bestückt , genügend Platz im Haus vorhanden , Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus . Waren eine Woche da und hätten auch locker zwei daraus machen können. Wir können es nur empfehlen und kommen auch gerne wieder, die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und helfen wo sie können. S.Walldorf

Fantástica. La casa cuenta con todos los detalles para sentirte como en la tuya. Un entorno tranquilo rodeado de naturaleza donde los niños pueden correr y sentirse libres sin peligros, viendo a caballos,dándoles de comer a los patos y columpiarse en un divertido columpio echo de cuerda y madera. La sra.Elisabeth un encanto, nos facilitó toda la información precisa, donde comprar,que visitar imprescindible el pueblo de Provins declarado por la Unesco patrimonio de la humanidad a unos 39km. Disneyland a 40km,después de la jornada en el parque se agradece La Paz y tranquilidad que te da la casa. Sin lugar a dudas volveremos. Gracias sra.Elisabeth por hacernos sentir como en casa

Mein Sohn (16) und ich haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Es mangelte praktisch an nichts! Insbesondere war alles sehr sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Geschirr ist ausreichend vorhanden. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist nahezu optimal. Unmittelbar an die Wohnung grenzte die Garage an, was sehr angenehm war. Der nächste Bäcker in Choisy-en-Brie hat leckere Baguettes und auch leckere süße Sachen, ist allerdings Montags geschlossen. In Coulommiers gibt es ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und man ist relativ schnell dort, ca. 15 bis 20 min. Vom dortigen Bahnhof ist man in ca. 1 Stunde am Bahnhof Paris Est, zum Flughafen CDG dauert es mit dem Auto ca. 1 Stunde 15 min. Werde bestimmt bei meinem nächsten Frankreichbesuch hier wieder vorbeischauen!

Diese Location kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen Selbstversorgerhaushalt benötigt, reichlich Geschirr, Wasserkocher, Kaffemaschine, Geschirrspüler, usw. usw. Großer Kühlschrank und auch ein Gefrierschrank sind vorhanden. Selbst Grillkohle und Grillanzünder sind vorhanden, ein Grill natürlich auch. Die Schlafzimmerbetten sind sehr gut. Wir haben darin jedenfalls super geschlafen. Nicht zu weich und auch nicht zu hart. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und man hat das Gefühl dass man jederzeit willkommen ist! Es gibt in der Nähe auch einen LeClerc Supermarkt (in Coulommiers, ca. 15 min mit dem Auto) und in unmittelbarer Nähe (5 min mit dem Auto) in Choisy-en-Brie einen Bäcker mit leckeren Baguettes unn ähnlichem. WLAN Anschluss funktioniert auch prima. Mein Sohn (16) und ich waren jedenfalls rundum zufrieden und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
