About this house rental
Our house is newly renovated and has great spaces for big groups of people indoors and out (8 adults plus children). Its a nice mix of modern, rustic and traditional Portuguese elements which make one feel at home among the breathtaking views of the hotel below and the Atlantic ocean. Children are welcome, since we have a little boy, and the garden lends itself well to both big and small visitors. An outdoor jaccuzzi (for 6) and eating area (bbq) as well as an outdoor fire pit make evenings all the more enjoyable for the adults, while the other garden holds a small vegetable patch which children enjoy checking for ripe strawberries and cherry tomatoes! The first floor has a large modern kitchen, a dining room with a fire place, and one bedroom with bathroom. Upstairs another living room provides ample play space for children, while 2 suits make sleeping arrangements very comfortable. The last two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom with bathtub and allow access to the back yard. We offer superfast wifi and a bluetooth sound system, as well as cable tv in both living rooms.
Ericiera is surrounded by several fantastic beaches and lives up to its claim to World Surf Reserve. Guests can also visit the National Mafra Palace 10 minutes away, or Sintra around 25 minutes by car. Summertime always means the village is thriving with visitors from around the world who come to appreciate the numerous gastronomy festivals and layed back atmosphere of the village.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Ericeira Sea View. Home was just as pictured and very clean. Pedro was very responsive and a great host!

My family rented from Pedro for a week so we could travel around the coast. The house was so beautiful and meticulously maintained; exactly how it looked in the photos. Pedro was very communicative, even when I made a mistake with the check-in time and he graciously moved around his schedule for us. He also included all the items we'd need for our 1.5 year old such as safety gates and a crib. Would stay again!

There were some drawbacks to this property. The owner had a lot of personal effects (clothing, food, etc.) in the home. The kitchen needed a good cleaning of pots and pans, utensils before cooking. The fridge was 50% full of with the owner's food. There were some miscommunications with the owner because of English ability. There were many positives about the house, the view, the space, location to town.
