The town of Murat was better than expected. Small cobblestones streets, old, charming houses. Many shops, cafes, restaurants. The nature around town is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers. Murat is also on the Circuit des Monts du Cantal The apartment was big enough for 4 people. Appliances are not recent but functional Overall clean but a coat of fresh paint wouldn’t hurt.

Given the price we were expecting basic which I was fine with but I did not expect dirty. The floor, sofa and bedding was covered in hair. We also smelt gas intermittently so were concerned there was a leak. We felt very uncomfortable there due to it being grubby and feeling unsafe due to the gas smell. We left after just one night. When we swept up to clean the place we swept up so much dirt that was not of our making as we had tried to out of the property as much as possible! I felt really let down by the HomeAway website that they would host a property which was unfit to be rented out as either the owners do not care or are unaware - both of which beg serious questions.

Beautiful location, apartment needs work.

The building, town and surrounding countryside are fantastic. The apartment needs a deep cleaning and new paint. The bathroom needs work-a missing piece of a step right in front of the toilet is ugly and uncomfortable. The coffeemaker, hot pot and microwave were coated with grime and everything was just a little grubby. But the basic room is great, wonderful big windows. It could be a gem with some regular care and paint.

quand nous arrivons sur cite empressions d'êtres dans un squatte des l'entrée , les photo ne correspondaient pas , salle de bain vétuste rester bloqué dans les années 60 avec douche qui ne s'écoule pas et déborde sur le sol et chauffe eau a gaz que de mon . toilette casse au niveau du réservoir d'eau et fenêtres vétustes avec carreaux cassés. Pas d'insonorisations entendons les voisins jour et nuit quoi qu'ils fassent.(pas dormi les deux nuits) Nous sommes restés que deux nuits après avoir trouvés une autre location plus sérieuse. ( double location qui n'était pas prévu dans mon budget) Je ne conseille a personnes de louer cette appartement qui et pourtant très bien placé dans Murat ( 2 personnes au maxime pas 5) très déçu pour une première expérience avec votre cite et espère un geste commercial de votre part cordialement Mme GUILPAIN CATHY

C est une belle bâtisse qui a du potentiel. Le propriétaire ne sait pas la richesse qu il a avec ce bâtiment. Le Monsieur qui nous accueille est très gentil il fait tout pour être de bons conseils il nous fait visiter l appartement mais malheureusement c est lui qui a les critiques. Le logement doit être revu . Si il ' y a pas les moyens financiers ce que je peux comprendre mais au moins arranger la salle de bain refaire la douche qui n est pas du luxe en premier. Un bon coup de peinture et changer ce qui est cassé serait bien dans un premier temps. Revoir la literie qui n est pas du luxe non plus . C est un vieux bâtiment qui n est pas insonorisé alors il est vrai qu on se croirait en HLM. Nous ne sommes pas là pour mettre des coups de bâtons mais pour faire comprendre au propriétaire que si il fait déjà quelques embellissements ce serait bien. La douche en premier et les matelas. Plus il en fera plus il louera plus longtemps. C est un magnifique village avec une superbe vue . La balle est dans son camp. La critique des gens d avant n ont pas été inventés.

Nous avons passe cinq nuits dans cet appartement qui en fait est une maison de 1800 divisée en plusieurs appartements. Les literies du petit lit et du BZ sont lamentables, l'appartement était sale a notre arrivée, des clous rouillés pour tenir une planche a même le sol dans la salle de bain, des joints de salle de bain vraiment moisis, le bas de la cabine de douche qui remonte sous nos pieds, une mauvaise évacuation de la douche, de l'eau chaude qui met longtemps a arriver et, qui une fois la devient froide avant de redevenir chaude le tout en pleine douche... Aucune isolation entre les différents appartements ce qui fait que nous entendons tout des autres et qui n'a pas dû les aider à dormir par rapport à notre bébé qui a pleurer la nuit. Les points positifs sont l'emplacement et surtout l'accueil du frère de l'hôte qui est vraiment un homme plein de conseils, gentil et compréhensif. Je déconseille fortement cet appartement pour un séjour avec des enfants en bas âge.

Propriétaire très agréable, au top. L’emplacement de l’appartement est bien, à 11kms du Liorant. Néanmoins le logement est très bruyant ( manque d’isolation) entre les appartements et la literie à revoir, matelas à ressorts qui ont besoin d’être changés. L’appartement nécessite des travaux afin qu’il y sois plus agréable à vivre.

Logement sale. Moisissures dans la cabine de douche, WC pas nettoyés. Vaisselle gluante et bols ébréchés. Dans la cuisine multiprise électrique dans le vide ne rassurant pas sur la sécurité. Clic-clac du séjour impropre à recevoir 2 personnes et la qualité du matelas n'assure pas un sommeil réparateur pour une personne. Avons passé une nuit faute d'autre hébergement et sommes repartis le lendemain matin sans avoir osé nous laver.

Propriétaire fort sympathique, logement bien situé dans Murat par contre il faudrait prévoir une rénovation complète de l'appartement. Le changement des oreillers est à prévoir ainsi que le nettoyage de l'alèse du clic clac. Le lit pliant convient à un enfant mais pas à un adulte. Ce logement convient à 4 adultes et non 5.

Les éléments de rangement sont pleins des affaires du propriétaire : la seule penderie se trouve dans le placard à balais et serpillières ... Au minimum il faudrait que les 2 meubles du logement soient VIDES ! et qu'il y ait une commode dans la chambre... Difficile d'être assis confortablement sur le siège des WC ! Il y a une réparation urgente à faire sur le socle où est posé ce siège. L'installation électrique est à revoir complètement ...elle est limite dangereuse. ( un bel éclair bleu avec bruit inquiétant lors du branchement de la prise de la télé) Il faudrait prévoir une rallonge avec prises multiples car il n'y a pas assez de prises de courant dans le logement. Les cadres des fenêtres sont en bois complètement pourri par l'humidité... Le lino au sol ( dans tout le logement) doit dater des années 50 ! il faudrait impérativement le changer ...il est archi usé ! Tous les bols de petit déjeuner sont fêlés... Un tapis de sortie de bains digne de ce nom devant la douche serait plus convenable qu'une serpillière ! A part cela ( qui n'est pas négligeable ! ) la vue depuis les fenêtres est superbe !

Aménagements "bricolés" : table branlante, canapé complètement affaissé, détecteur d'incendie absent, hotte aspirante hors d'usage, accès difficile à la cuvette de WC (manque d'une marche), carrelages manquants et tuyaux apparents dans la salle de bain, escalier d'accès vétuste, seule la chambre est correcte.

Agréable séjour dans une location simple mais tranquille et avec jolie vue sur Murat, seul petit souci le stationnement pas toujours accessible devant la maison. sur ballade au Puy Marie, Saint Flour. Le vendredi le marché a Murat pour faire le plein de bonne choses, ( fromage et charcuterie) et une trés bonne adresse de restaurant, profitez de la visite au viaduc de Garabit pour aller manger a "La Méridienne" ( sortie 30 ) c'est tres abordable et SUPER BONNN, acceuil top, cadre superbe, je recommande ++++++.. en conclusion super vacances, et j'espere bien pouvoir y retourner bientôt

Appartement dans un immeuble familial. Très convivial, l'isolation phonique n'est pas parfaite. Si vous voulez faire de la cuisine, apporter vos poeles. Sinon l'appartement est bien équipé, spacieux. Deux couchages se trouvent dans le salon, le clic clac est peu confortable. Le lit de la chambre est très bien. Le ménage laisse à desirer. Les animaux sont les bienvenus, c'est un point positif important. Suite a un problème de frigo le jour de notre arrivée, Mr Peschaud a réagi vite pour nous dépanner avec un autre frigo. Merci !
