Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo is the Mexican destination that attracts attention for its natural attractions, important tourist services and for the activities they offer to rest and have fun, such is the case of swimming with dolphins, stressful water and sports activities such as golf, tennis , fishing, diving and also with cultural and traditional events that reflect the life of the people of Guerrero.

Fisherman's Walk

This attractive walk begins at the pier of the Principal beach that borders it until it reaches the Madera beach. On the tour you will find craft shops, restaurants of all tastes with a specialty in seafood, you will also see the boats arrive and you will have the opportunity to buy fresh fish.

Marina Ixtapa

Two-kilometer marina where up to 100 yachts are received, in addition there are shops, a golf course, luxury condominiums and a walker with restaurants and bars special for a modern and sophisticated ride.

Beaches

Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo has more than 30 kilometers of beach, from the bay beaches to those of the open sea, in some you can camp, some rent lifeguards but all have excellent services. The most common are: Main Beach, La Madera, La Ropa, Las Gatas, El Palmar, Playa Larga, Blanca, Linda and Quieta. The beaches of this destination offer activities such as fishing and adventure like parachute, snorkeling, diving, sailing, surfing and many more.

Ixtapa Island

Islet that is one more attraction of this destination being perfect for diving and having fun with different water activities. Having 4 very nice beaches to enjoy the sun, some with restaurants and palapas to relax. But if you only want to enjoy the water in complete isolation, Playa Sacrificio is the option.

Archaeological Museum of the Costa Grande

This museum has six rooms in which pieces from different archaeological zones of the cultures are exhibited: Tehotihuacana, Olmeca, Mexica and Tarasca, mainly and the history of Zihuatanejo is shown on maps or murals. Here you will find objects made with ceramics, utensils, weapons and other samples. The hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Park Bio La Escollera

This ecological park was built for ecotourism and educational purposes as the main objective is to protect the flora and fauna of Guerrero. The visit to this park is 90 minutes where you will be able to observe insects, a variety of plants, iguanas and a species of wild boar called a collared peccary. Open every day from 9 to 5, with guided tours.

Crocodile in Ixtapa

In Ixtapa you can find exotic animals like crocodiles and they are found on one of its beautiful beaches called Playa Linda. Here you can observe these reptiles in their natural environment, being harmless and giving visitors a great show.
