The location of this property suited us well, being in a quiet location but not far from Heraklion, and was adequately equipped. secure off-road parking, wifi and air conditioning all appreciated.

The cottage is as pictured in the listing, it is well maintained, very clean, and everything is in working order. The unit is on the ground floor and we didn't hear the neighbors above or next to us. Kalliopi, the owner was kind enough to supply fresh fruit, bread, butter, jam, cheese and meat for our breakfasts for the 3 nights we stayed. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of birds chirping instead of traffic and city noise! After a day of sightseeing, it was great to come home to this peaceful location to relax and rest. We were able to park our rental car in the secure driveway, which was very nice. We did not use the washing machine, but it is easily accessed in the cabinet by the dining area. My only recommendations for improvements would be: provide 2 pillows per person for each bed, put a "Sea View Cottage" sign (in Greek and English) on the gate so it is easier to find, and add a shelf in the bathroom for guests' toiletries. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying in this terrific cottage!
