Casa Santuario Hotel Boutique

The location is in downtown. I chose it because it was one of the closest to a place where I had an appointment earlier today. The closest.

Well, the heading calls it HOTEL BOUTIQUE. I had a long conversation with the owner and she called it a HOSTAL. It is very humble. No towel holder in the bathroom. The shower head brought out two strong water jets, not what one is used to. There was hot water in the shower. The sink had only cold water. Mattresses are definitely hard. There are shelves for blankets and a bar to hang clothing with some hangers. A TV that I did not use. Close to the ceiling a wall fan. Hooks where I hung the towels near the armoire. Oposite side from the bathroom. I received a call the previous day asking me what time was I going to arrive. I did ask what time was the check out as I just had an appointment the next day which I did not know what time was it going to end. She said the check out was at 11:00 am. The lady owner agreed to store my luggage if my appointment did not finish on time. Then later she said it was “not fare”. She told me when I pointed out the check out time that Booking did not respect her times. In the app it said between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. I proposed to her that could pay “ extended stay” but she rejected the idea. She explained the cleaning people hours and how that would not work. The HOSTAL was empty, I was the only guest. I understand that could have changed any minute. But due to the current circumstances at a time I thought it was a good compromise. She then told me that if I arrived at 12:00 noon I was going to be charged another night. So no extended stay and no to store my luggage for some extra money. I was going to pay for another night ( although my ticket to leave the city was bought already). But since at the start she agreed to store my luggage in the front desk, and later she changed her mind, I thought that was not a serious mature adult attitude. So in the morning I left the keys at the front desk as instructed during the long conversation exploring different possibilities and I left at 9:10 am

Me gusto la ubicación, que cuenta con cocina equipada sin costo adicional, el precio es muy accesible, la chica que brinda atención amable y dispuesta.

No me gusto que sólo cuenta con una persona para recepción, limpieza, atención, es mucho trabajo para ella sola, no me gustó que no hay señalamientos en en lugar, parece clandestino. Y en la habitación que me asignaron se salía el agua del drenaje del baño y había cabellos estancados en en lavabo del baño, pedí cambio de habitación y sin problema me reubicaron, en general las instalaciones son buenas pero con un poco de mantenimiento sacaría más provecho el lugar.

Quiet, good location to zocalo. Greeted in friendly manner.

At one time it might have looked like the photo. It however now, needs a good cleaning and some maintence work. The shower head sprayed everywhere. Right now questionable to advertise it as a " boutique" hotel. Do like the city.
