Great stay in eastern Maine at the House on Half Moon Cove! We had a wonderful trip and the house had plenty of room and amenities to make our trip satisfactory. We did note some small issues with smoke alarms going off and somewhat thin curtains in some of the bedrooms. The address given to us was also incorrect and we had to hunt around for the property (but found it eventually!). The view on the water took our breath away, and the neighborhood was quite charming. Overall, a fantastic trip with room for some small improvements!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved watching the tide ebb and flow every day. The neighborhood is nicely tucked away and we met some very interesting people. It was so close to the charming town of Eastport, a darling Bazaar owned by a local who makes all the jewelry, and an amazing ice cream stop.
The house had all the amenities one could need and very sufficiently held the seven people in our group. The owner was very prompt in replying to any questions or requests and seemed quite genuine.
If you want to be away from the larger cities of Portland or Bangor, this is a great location. However, everything is day-trip drivable.
