A peaceful, idyllic stay in Croatia.

We arrived at the beautiful villa in the mountains late in the evening but was left with with a warm, welcoming gift from Ivona, the villa’s lovely host, who left us with an assortment of food/drink for when we arrived and for breakfast the next day! The pictures are a true representation of the villa, bedrooms are clean and spacious with great air conditioning, modern bathrooms (with fantastic water pressure!), modern and fully equipped kitchens, a beautiful garden and pool area with plenty of seating areas, and a fab summer kitchen. The villa is split almost like two apartments, downstairs there is the large kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom. Upstairs is accessed by the stairs to the side of the villa which leads up to the balcony area and the front door. There is a smaller kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms. This worked fine for our group of friends. Every morning a very quiet cleaner, who never woke us, had already cleaned the outside areas including the pool and summer kitchen to keep the garden area tidy. We stayed 7 nights and went on trips by car to Ston, Propratno Beach and Dubrovnik. The closest shops for groceries are a small Studenac Market about 10 minutes away or a bigger Tommy Market in Ston about 30 minutes away.

The Villa is at least a 30 minute drive from the nearest town with amenities such as restaurants and shops. I think due to the time of year and the heatwave during our stay there were a lot of flies and wasps, however there were bug repellent candles to light.

Relaxing vacation!

Villa Ivona met all our expectations. We were welcomed by the hostess Ivona with a wonderful welcome on the table in the summer kitchen (I adore her cakes and delicious menu)🍹🧁 Ivona showed us the villa and everything we needed to know. We are delighted with her kindness and quick responses. The villa is new and very nicely decorated, he pays attention to every detail, hair shampoos and my wife was most impressed by the hair iron in one of the bathrooms. We took a trip with a speedboat that Ivona recommended and spent a day to remember and ate in one of the best fish restaurants.😊 We will surely come back again when we visit Dubrovnik again.❤️

My recommendation is to follow Ivona's advice and you won't go wrong.

A beautiful villa in a beautiful picturesque setting!!!

A beautiful villa in a beautiful picturesque setting. Ivona and her family welcomed us wonderfully and the host Ivona was always available to answer our questions about what to visit, where to eat and what she recommends. The villa is the same as in the pictures. Good kitchen and bathroom equipment make you feel at home. Perfectly clean swimming pool (the cleaning lady cleans it every morning) and a picturesque area for barbecue and relaxation. Shops and bakeries are about a 20-minute drive from the villa, but it wasn't a problem for us because the villa has everything to prepare meals (we were delighted with the machine for making fresh bread). Ivona, thank you and your family for everything and we will surely see each other again.

Excellent!!!

The house and its contents are modernly decorated with a lot of love and warmth. The villa is located in a quiet location and you can relax in great privacy. The pool and outdoor area, summer kitchen (wine fridge, stove and grill) are great. For me and my family, the pool is a place of complete relaxation (lying on a deckchair, drinking a cocktail or homemade white and red wine from Ivona) All rooms have air conditioning and smart TV with Netflix, Android and satellite channels. On the ground floor there is also a sauna for additional relaxation, where you will be greeted with a robe and cosmetics. Ivona is an excellent hostess, extremely kind, accommodating and always available. Ivona welcomed us with a welcome drink (domestic wine, liqueurs and domestic olive oil) You should definitely try it and you can buy as much as you want. We chose Villa Ivona as our accommodation because it met all our expectations and every day we went on a trip to the surrounding towns of Ston (15 minutes drive), Mostar (1 hour drive), the center of Dubrovnik (45 minutes drive), Spilja Vjetrenica (30 minutes driving) Ivona organized a trip with her speedboat for us, every recommendation I definitely recommend that you take the offer of a trip with a skipper. The villa has its own eco garden where guests use local vegetables. Ivona pampered and took care of us too much and we will surely return to this precious peace again.

Very good

The villa is lovely and location is great for a peaceful recoup after a really busy week pervious. 20 minuets by car and you will be in Ston with lots of good restaurants, and Dubrovnik is an hour away. The host was lovely reaching out to us periodically to ensure everything was ok and even sorted our parking ticket for us.

The Villa is over 2 floors, with the top floor having 2 bedrooms, small kitchen, bathroom and the main living room. Down stairs is the third bedroom, big kitchen and another bathroom. the connection between the top floor and lower floor is via outside steps at the back of the property so both parts of the villa have separate entrances. While this is quite normal in Croatia it was a little bit of a surprise if your traveling with small children this could cause an issue. The only other thing I would add is either fans or aircon in the bedrooms, as they did get hot (both floors do have AC but not in the bedrooms)

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Ivona. The surroundings were really quiet and relaxing. If you go by car, the beaches are not so far away. We enjoyed beaches in Slano (17 km) and Prapratno (10 km). The sceneries were absolutely stunning. Even though we arrived very late (our flight was delayed for 2,5 hours), the hosts welcomed us very heartfully and with refreshing drinks and fruits. They were really helpful, always available and even gave us recommendations on where to go (for drinks, dinner etc.) and what to see nearby. Since the village is located more or less in the mountains, it wasn't so hot at night (in June) and we didn't have to use the air conditioner so much. We enjoyed the swimming pool (it was very warm at night) and the summer kitchen. If we go to this part of Croatia, we will definitely return here.

Nicest Host !!!

The place and the village were perfect for us, so quiet and clean. Ivona prepared us a delicios dinner for the first night. She is the nicest host we ever met, she prepared everything for us to feel like home. The kitchen outside is exactly what you need. Dubrovnik is 1 hour away, and you can also visit the beautiful Ston and also go to the Prapratno beach, which is really nice. Of we ever return in Dubrovnik, for sure we are going to choose Ivona’s house!

Willa jest piękna i dokładnie taka, jak na zdjęciach. Willa była przepięknie czysta i wygodna, ze wszystkim, czego potrzebowaliśmy, aby poczuć się luksusowo. Nasza gospodyni Ivona była bardzo pomocna i troskliwa, dbając o każdy szczegół. Do rzeczy, które szczególnie nam się podobały w willi, należały spokój, czystość i nowoczesność, luksusowe ręczniki, w tym ręczniki basenowe i pościel, luksusowe szlafroki, których używaliśmy do sauny, urocze miejsce do grillowania oraz wspaniały basen i jacuzzi, które sprzątaczka odwiedzała każdego ranka, dbając o czystość i porządek na podwórku i w letniej kuchni. Ivona była wspaniałą gospodynią, która pomogła nam zarezerwować restauracje i bilety, a także odbyliśmy fantastyczny rejs motorówką po wyspie, który w 100% polecam. Podsumowując, był to fantastyczny pobyt, który polecam każdemu, kto szuka czystej, nowoczesnej willi w spokojnej lokalizacji z doskonałymi udogodnieniami.

Wszystko było idealne. Przykro nam, że pobyt trwał krótko.

Ivona is een fantastische host welke het haar gasten aan niks laat ontbreken in deze fantastische villa!

We werden ontvangen door een super vriendelijke en gastvrije Ivona. Er stonden lokale delicatessen voor ons klaar in de vorm van een hapjes plank, vers brood en fruit en lokale wijn en biertjes. In de villa ontbrak het ons aan niks, alles is aanwezig voor een fantastisch verblijf. De villa was super schoon, geordend en voorzien van allerlei luxe. Ivona was ten allen tijde bereikbaar voor advies en tips om de regio te verkennen of om heerlijke verse producten van een lokale boer te bestellen.(kaas, melk, eieren.) Wij hebben met ons gezin van 5 enorm genoten van ons verblijf en raden villa Ivona zeer zeker aan!

Doskonale!! Od momentu naszego przyjazdu powitano nas z wielką serdecznością. Zadbano o każdy szczegół, były adaptery, klapki plażowe, szlafroki, ładowarki do telefonów komórkowych, informacje turystyczne, jedzenie, sery, szynka, desery i lokalne likiery. Jacuzzi i sprzęt do grillowania były idealne do spędzania czasu razem jako rodzina. Czystość jest na poziomie 10/10, czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo przez cały czas. Dużo podróżujemy jako rodzina i było to jedno z najlepszych doświadczeń, jakie mieliśmy podczas naszego pobytu. Ivona poleciła nam świetne restauracje i mamy same pochwały, a także wycieczkę łodzią motorową, podczas której spędziliśmy jeden z najpiękniejszych i najbardziej niezapomnianych dni naszych wakacji. Polecamy pobyt w obiekcie, który oferuje pełną ofertę wycieczek, rekomendacji, przewodników. Wszystko było naprawdę idealne. Naprawdę doceniam, jak miła była dla nas Ivona, na pewno wybralibyśmy willę ponownie.

Perfekt och avkopplande semester!

Vi var 9 stycken, inklusive en bebis, och villan var perfekt! Villan är vacker och så välutrustad med ett utomhuskök och pool, samt ett lekrum, träningsmaskin, bastu och bubbelpool! Allt exakt som på bilden! Vi uppskattade också verkligen att villan var utrustad med nödvändigheter som mjölk, kaffe, te, juice, olivolja och frukt! Villan ligger i ett vackert, lugnt område. Ivona är en utmärkt och mycket tillmötesgående värdinna. Vi rekommenderar starkt Villa Ivona för din semester i Dubrovnik!
