About this villa rental
Villa 101 is a very special & luxurious large privately owner villa in one of the best parts of the island, local to the best beaches (Cala Bassa, Conta 5 minutes) and clubs (Amnesia 10 minutes) as well as Ibiza town (15 minutes).
The house has been completely refurbished in 2017 (and ever yr thereafter) to a high standard by her British owners. The 400+ sqm house sits inside nearly a hectare of private walled land and has some of the best views in Ibiza.
The super sized infinity pool is 15m x 4m. Large terraces surround the house and there are a further 2000 sqm of lawn area for enjoyment within 7000sqm of private forested land.

The atmosphere design at 101 has been very important to its owners, so many features have been blended to hopefully enhance your stay. Automatic colored LED mood lighting illuminates the main pool at night in multiple colors as well as the surrounding gardens. Automatic water features have been used for visual & acoustic effect to enhance the 101 experience. Alongside the main large infinity pool, 101 offers guests a second shallow pool area and fountains which surrounds a large shaded chill-out island with two super king sized external beds.
There is also a 'magical' second chill out bedded area, higher in the gardens of 101, with stunning sea sunset views to the islands off Cala Conta.
The house is fully equipped and sits on two floors 101 offers a total of 6 double bedrooms.
The villa has 5 bathrooms, one internal fully equipped kitchen and one external kitchen with a fridge, sink and BBQ. In addition, there are 3 large internal chill out day beds in the main house, as well as two sofas. Also several tvs inc the principle 52 inch TV and Stereo with blue tooth and usb, sd card, DVD. AC, dimmer mood lighting through out. The external dinning table and seating accommodates 12 people easily, with another external dinning table for 8 in the lower garden. Internally a large round dinning area accommodates 12 people. Parking is ample with two main parking zones at 101. One zone is directly next to the main house, where there is parking for 4 to 5 cars. The second parking zone is 100m away from the house. Fruit trees surround this lower parking area.

Thank you so much for having me again - Villa 101 has a special place in my heart!! The view is absolutely unique and breathtaking - staying in this beautifully designed villa with it’s terraces and spacious garden was a big pleasure. There is plenty of space and some of the most stunning beaches on the island are just around the corner. Situated in nature the atmosphere of staying here is amazing - still offering all needed amenities nearby (shop restaurant right in front!). Rich was incredibly helpful and warmhearted and made us feel very welcomed. It was great to be back and I‘ll keep coming back for sure - a true gem in Ibiza! Thanks a lot, Eva

Pros:
- Beautiful house with amazing views.
- The owner and manager are super responsive.
- Store next door and restaurant.
- Good size, rooms, beds.
- Great layout, perfect for a large group.
Cons:
- Security: The house does not feel secure enough. It should have deterrent signs indicating it is protected by private security, and visible cameras on the exterior walls and gate to deter potential thieves. Currently, the limited cameras only operate when the alarm is set, which is inadequate. The cameras should work on motion detectors at all times, even when people are home and the alarm is not activated. Cameras along the driveway and in other key areas should be recording based on motion detection, regardless of whether the alarm is on. Given that Ibiza is experiencing a surge in burglaries, it is imperative to feel safe when renting a villa here.
- Car Gate: Sometimes not closing properly and requiring manual intervention.
- Electrical: The house cannot handle the electricity load when multiple AC units are on simultaneously, causing frequent power outages.
- WiFi: The WiFi is very slow.
Conclusion:
I have mixed feelings because the house is beautiful and the homeowner is very responsive and accommodating. However, for me to stay here again, the house would need to substantially upgrade its security with more motion-detected cameras regardless of alarm activation, and must have signage indicating that the villa is patrolled by private armed security.
