The historic market town of Bideford is just 5 miles away where you will find a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops Amenities: parking directly outside property. Acorn Cottage provides an ideal location to explore the North Devon coast between Bideford and Hartland., including Westward Ho! and the charming village of Clovelly. We found the cottage comfortable with everything we needed, including a garden to soak up the sunshine. We were lucky that the weather was warm and dry.

The host Julie was very welcoming and recommended some good places to go and visit. The cottage was very clean and ideal located. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had a great time staying here in May despite the unusual cold, wet and windy weather. The location is perfect, nice coastal walks within walking or driving distance. The cottage is small and cosy which was perfect for 2 of us. The property manager was really helpful and responded quickly to any queries and we had a lovely surprise of milk and Devon cream tea with scones waiting for us when we checked in.
