Older single friends wanting a change from the usual Christmas aloneness!!We had some lovely long walks & bought fresh seafood from Ilfracombe for Christmas lunch which we enjoyed in the garden room with a wonderful view of Lee Bay!The village pub was perfect for early drinks & the odd meal. Local people extremely friendly. Will definitely come again sometime.

We loved staying at Millfield Cottage, the house is well equipped and spacious. The location is fabulous, we were there in October, so the weather was stormy, being warm and cosy in the house while watching the waves break on the rocks and hearing the wind on the sea was just great. Lee bay is a fantastic rocky bay with caves and many hidden beaches, worth exploring. The garden is also lovely. The narrow Devon lanes can be a bit daunting but taken carefully you soon learn how to navigate them. This is an 'out of the way' holiday spot but in close reach of cafes and restaurants in both Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. We had a fab time and would definitely return. Thank you.
