About this house rental
Catch rays all day long on the sun terrace, while gazing out to sea over the harbour.
Inside our cosy fisherman's cottage you will find an abundance of original features including exposed stone walls and fireplaces.
Winkle cottage provides a fantastic base for daytime activities and evening entertainment, with many festivals and events bringing locals and tourists together to provide a fantastic atmosphere. Be sure to check 'what's on' when planning your holiday.
The Cottage:
Sun Terrace - Suntrap from mid-morning to late evening with views over the harbour and out to sea, outdoor furniture to comfortably seat 5 people.
Living/Dining Room - Large, light and airy room with solid oak flooring throughout, feature fireplace, two 2 seater sofa's, a large window looking over the harbour and out to sea. 32" Smart TV, Oak dining table and 5 chairs.
Kitchen - Oak worktops and integrated appliances; fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, fan assisted oven and induction hob. Cookware, dinnerware and cutlery. Wall mounted fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit in case of emergency.
Master Bedroom - Spacious room with King sized bed and pocket sprung mattress, bedside tables, reading lamps and chest of draws. A large bay window seat to enjoy the amazing views over the harbour and out to sea. 24" TV.
2nd Bedroom - Good size room with a standard double bed and pocket sprung mattress, bedside tripod light, built-in chest of draws and cupboard.
3rd Bedroom - Good size room with standard single bed and pocket sprung mattress, bedside table and reading lamp.
All bedrooms boast pocket sprung mattresses, luxury bedding and hotel quality duvets and pillows.
We are available on other mainstream portals and remain competitive despite VRBO's high commission and fee structure

We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return. The cottage is in a great location with stunning views and is really comfortable with lovely decor. The host was very patient and helpful with the booking process, which I was even more grateful for when I saw what a lovely place we had to stay in.

Lovely little character cottage, great location, parking little tight in places, first come, first served. Fantastic views of the whole harbour. Plenty of eatery's in the town, lovely coastal walks.

Pleasant little property close to the main town.
Parking is a major issue with very little parking close to the property on many occasions. Although a short walk from the main town the area is very steep and is not suitable for anyone not fit and able.
The hosts of the property were very responsive with messages and accurate and slick at check in.
We did however find the accommodation not a clean in arrival as some other properties we have stayed in. The fridge and freezer was not turned on for arrival and no simple cleaning products left for the start of the stay.
We did enjoy our week we would choose this property again when booking for next years trip.
