The perfect place to celebrate a significant birthday! The barn had everything we needed. Access to the woodland and use of the sauna gave us added space to relax and enjoy. We loved it! Thanks to Cyntra who is the perfect host.

What a great house! Everything we needed for 3 days in Yorkshire. Sheep and Alpaca at the farm, a sauna in the evenings with a cold plunge. We cooked, visited and relaxed in this lovely house.

We loved the Launde barn! The grounds and animals are a real highlight, and the interior is cozy and comfortable. The owners have put a lot of thought into the guest experience and Cyntra and Marcus are lovely and welcoming. The kitchenware (pans, utensils, etc) could use a refresh, but we probably cook more than most guests. The espresso machine was a delight. We can't wait to be back next year!

We loved everything about the Barn. It was spotlessly clean, had everything you needed including the peace and quiet of a beautiful countryside setting. Would not hesitate to recommend here for anyone looking for a break with a large group of friends or family where you just want to chill and enjoy each others company and the amazing scenery. The owner was lovely to deal with, she gave us some recommendations before our stay and responded within 24 hrs even baked us an among loaf cake for our stay. Thanks so much Launde Barn.

We stayed at Launde Barn for a family birthday celebration and I would recommend the barn and its hosts in a heartbeat! Barn was modern, smartly furnished, very well equipped (kitchen and outdoor games especially), and cleaned to a very high standrard. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space with the calming backdrop of the sheep.Cyntra and Marcus were very welcoming and communicative hosts from the outset. Highly recommended and we would love to return. Thanks for a great few days :-)

This house is beautiful, there is everything you may need and more. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyed, we were delayed in our arrival time and had ordered a food delivery which the host very kindly received and put away in the fridge. Peaceful and close to the Dales where we enjoyed lovely walks. The sauna and lumi pod was a nice treat too! Would highly recommend to anybody wanting a family get away. You will not want for anything, house is very well equipped and lovely lemon drizzle cake upon arrival. Thank you!!

My first thought when we got to the venue was ‘oh wow this is beyond what I expected!’ I was blown away at the beauty of the property and surroundings, the layout and finishing touches of the property make it so homely but still clean & well finished without being crowded. The extra touch of a homemade loaf and a little note was such a treat, everything had been thought of and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I will definitely recommend to friends & family. We rented the barn for four nights for a family birthday party. Everything is decorated to the highest standard with beautiful bedding, towels and soft furnishings. All the bedrooms are a good size. We loved the open plan kitchen and lounge and the dining space was perfect for our party. We were greeted warmly by our host and nothing was too much trouble. The outdoor space is fabulous and the village is beautiful. We had a wonderful time from start to finish.

We came back to visit with other family members and enjoyed our stay just as much as the first. Some of us were a little under the weather and so it was lovely to have a relaxing, beautiful environment in which to rest. We were even able to avail ourswlves of the sauna which had been installed since the last time we visited back in September. A delightful property! i wish we could find something similar to one day for us to live in!

The property is not only stunning, it is set in the beautiful countryside with sheep, rabbits and even a friendly Alpaca. There’s tons of room inside, we were a party of 8 and a small dog. There’s also loads of room to play and explore outside. You can sit in the garden and eat breakfast/dinner together as there is a large garden table. My mum is in a wheelchair so the downstairs bedroom with en-suite was perfect for her and dad. There’s lots of great things to do for all ages within a short car journey. I would definitely recommend this excellent property.

We booked as a family of 8 and the place is absolutely perfect. Easy to find, spacious, clean, it has all the amenities needed for a great weekend away. We loved eating and playing games around the big kitchen table. We also enjoyed the outdoor activities such as table tennis and the local animals. We would highly recommend this place, it’s in a lovely village with places to walk, visit and eat nearby. We were very thankful of a great family weekend stay at this amazing location.

What a lovely place everything was immaculate, this place was a gem…… Cyntra popped round not long after we settled in just to make sure everything was OK, which was very thoughtful. Fantastic location just 15min from York, so we visited the Christmas market. Walking around the village was nice too, met some old ladies walking their dogs (as were we) so they pointed us in the right direction through the woods in the centre. Thank you for making our daughters 40th a memorable one. Tony H

Launde Barn was a perfect place to stay with our familie while in the area. Exceptionally clean and warm too. Comfortable well sized bedrooms. Lots of space for our party of 5 to enjoy and our dog enjoyed his walks in the woods on the farm. Bebe and the sheep greeted us every time we stepped out of the door! The hosts have an eye for detail and provide a very lovely place to stay which is in a peaceful setting. The village pub provided a very good meal for an evening as did the New Inn nearby in Huby which was a Cantonese restaurant. Visited York for the National Railway museum and Jorvik Viking museum both of which were well worth a visit. We would definitely come here again.

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. Cyntra welcomed us on arrival and insisted that we let her know if there was anything that we needed, everything was perfect already however. A party of six adults, there is plenty of space, the house is lovely and the grounds are nice, full of local wildlife. It's a short trip into York city centre, we took the bus in and a taxi back. Highly recommended!
