Wonderful stay

Merci for our wonderful stay! We had a beautiful modern room directly situated in the stunning garden. The pool was great, the old house beautifully renovated. Every morning we received a fantastic breakfast from our host. The place was quiet and peaceful.

If you look for nice dinners, you have to take the car in the evening. We did not mind the driving, so it was not a problem for us. We actually got great recommendations where to go for dinner :)

Our hosts were amazing: communicative, inviting, and completely hospitable. Rooms were unique, well appointed and very comfortable. The grounds were secluded and safe feeling.

Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was beautiful and tranquil. Breakfast was exceptional: delicious, lots of choice and beautifully presented. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely location, close to the chosen venue for a family wedding.

Lovely property within an enclosed plot (electric gate entry). Pool. Well appointed room and en suite, in room safe. Delicious breakfasts. Easy walk into Tarascon and close to many cycle routes. Hosts and their pets (Hugo the dog) were very welcoming. Hosts an excellent source of local knowledge and suggestions for trips out.

In room tea and coffee facilities would have been a nice touch. Mosquitos abound in this region, you’ll need protection.

We won't be returning.

The breakfast was a simple croissant/baguette and some meat and cheese. The coffee was good and so was the fruit juice. The pool was salinated and not chlorinated, which was great. It was very refreshing on a hot afternoon. The proprietors were also very good in providing hypoallergenic bed linen.

It could just be the Germanic way of the proprietors, but we didn't particularly feel welcome. Instead, we had a 20-30 minute introduction to all the regulations that we had to follow, from where to park to the place to put your pool towel. There were also documents in the room to make clear our legal obligations. We were also told not to turn on the air conditioner, since the weather had evidently cooled. It's clearly a money saving condition, but surely we as guests should decide whether we need the 'climatization'. Overall, we did not feel welcome, and thought that we were paying for the privilege to stay there!

Incredibly friendly and helpful owners, we felt welcomed immediately, and they went above and beyond to help us make the stay incredible. Really cool location, super pretty outdoor area with a relaxing garden and clean pool. Very nicely renovated historical building. Great breakfast as well!

A beautifully, hidden Mas in really good hands making you feel welcome right away

The Mas Armelin was wonderful. The warm welcome from Uli and his wife Cordula made as feel welcome right away. The house is so hidden, like a lost paradies. Could can really feel the love and dedication that is put into this place. I loved our family room, as the interior was classy, minimalistic but still very cozy & the beds were perfect. The a/c worked well (much appreciated during the heat wave). The breakfast was delicious (fresh baguette, mini croissants, jam, fruit…We didn’t ask for eggs so I don’t know if they are available). The dog Hugo is so kind and like a family member - he made my kids heart melt. We loved the Mas Armelin as it is small. Only 4 rooms and a flat that is a bit hidden and can be rented out for minimum a week. There was private parking and the place is very secure, as it lies behind a secured fence/door, that has to be locked always. I felt safe about my kids using the pool. I appreciated the good location in the Provence . It was close to all major attractions/cities.

The mosquitos in the evening ( but that is nature!). Make sure to bring an insect repellant. For us that worked perfectly!

A lovely spot, the castle is good value and worth looking around and the town has some lovely old parts. Not many place

It was a beautiful and secluded property (surroundings less so!) and the pool was lovely even though it was too cold to go in. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast was very nice.

We could have done with an extra pillow each as they were quite flat. I was sharing a bed with my sister so it wasnt a problem to have a duvet each (apparently European-style?) but I think if I had been with my husband we would have preferred a whole double size duvet! It was inconvenient to not have a kettle or tea making facilities in our room. There was no communal area to sit or eat as it was the owners space. There was no tv but we didn’t mind that.

Lovely, tastefully designed and renovated Provencal villa with pool and comfortable room

Property is amazing, typical Provancal style building, tastfully renovated. Hosts been very nice to us, felt welcoming. Could check in earlier, which was really nice. The room is small but clean and calm, slept well, breakfast was perfect, cheese, butter, bread, fruits, croisant, hame and more. Would stay there again.

Beautiful restored family-run country house, the perfect place to spend a quiet weekend. Breakfast was delicious!

Would be great to have a cattle for tea in the room and a larger sheet for the double bed as it was a bit small. Apart from that everything was great!

Stylish and comfortable accommodation in an ancient, beautifully restored farmhouse. Accomodation is located in beautiful garden with swimming pool. The breakfast was very good. Private parking place is possible. The hosts were attentive, to willing advise and help.

Truly lovely, 10/10 on every front and would stay again in a heartbeat.

I have fortunately stayed in many a hotel and there is one common trend amongst the best I have ever stayed and that is the basics are done superbly. Greeted with a lovely welcome by the owner and the security dog Hugo (the softest little sausage dog) who is ready to give you a nasty lick whenever there is an opportunity. Given a swift tour on arrival to make you feel comfortable as soon as possible. Fabulous room with everything you really need (shower is unreal). Breakfast was everything you’d expect with local produce including hams, cheeses, fruits, jams etc etc. Hugo watches on with hopeful eyes that maybe just one crumb will hit the floor, good luck to him I say as there wasn’t much left after I’d cleared the plates. I was attending a wedding close-by and although the taxi services around the area are near useless and cost a fortune, the owners were very kind and supportive in getting lifts organised on our behalf.

The hospitality was very pleasant and helpful, especially in terms of suggesting places for visiting In addition, the hostess helped and suggested good restaurants for dinner The breakfast was very good and "rich" in terms of the Ingredients.

A lovely, quiet property located just outside town. Very friendly and helpful hosts, and a nice breakfast spread. Just the kind of place we like.

Getting in and out of the main gate is a little complicated - having to enter the code both on reaching the gate and on going through it, but that is a minor worry.

Extremely pleasant experience.

Very pleasant, quiet secluded chambre d’hote within walking distance of the historic district of Tarascon. Beautifully modernized old farmhouse with well-designed and equipped room with very nice bathroom and walk-in shower. Nice dining area for breakfast.
