Great location, friendly staff, cozy decor, fresh-baked muffins for breakfast.
Would have liked access to a microwave not necessarily in room, but would have been nice to have access to a small common area kitchenette space. Shampoo was not provided, though maybe would have been available if asked. Some rooms require stairs to access. Breakfast starts late, 9am and no coffee available earlier.

Dave at the desk is warm and friendly, making you feel at home immediately. We had a lovely little suite with comfortable beds, icy cold a/c, and a large bathroom for a reasonable price. The location in town is perfect, and the Watership Inn itself is a beautiful historic building. Lovely place all around.
We weren’t personally offended by this, but found it a little odd for one staff member to be working the desk and grounds shirtless, and smoking so frequently around the building and guests. We could smell it in our room, and the main building.

We never had breakfast. It wasn’t served until after 09:00. Most of the guests were looking for coffee and something to eat around 07:00. They offered a free breakfast with the room.
Have coffee and something to eat around 06:30.
