Villa Ettore

Very comfortable & clean room in a great location, just a short walk from the Pompeii Archeological Park. It was nice to have some outdoor garden space to relax in.

Location , roomy great host, lots of information

Easy to find. Facilities were clean. The property has a lovely garden and covered area for relaxing. Easy walk to center of modern city and to gates of archeological area.

Limited items like soap, shampoo. There was a combination shampoo and shower gel but it was not good at either.

The room was very modern, lovely and clean. I also appreciated the (shared) access to mini fridge and microwave. Host was very responsive. Close to archeological park.

The air conditioning was not working well and it was sweltering hot. The remote didn’t control it, not sure why, but when we let him know it was too hot he gave us the real remote. But it still wasn’t cooling. He said it might just be too hot out but we had just stayed in Rome where it was 100 degrees in a much larger apartment with similar unit that cooled beautifully. We asked if there was another room but no answer. So we spent a very hot and sleepless night trying to sleep. It turned out that it was lacking coolant and he said so and apologized but didn’t offer any sort of compensation or even partial refund.
