民宿地點距太武山登山口和參訪擎天廳的集合地點（山外車站）很近，由於位在金門正中央，到所有景點都不會太遠，非常理想。

beautifully renovated. gives the wonderful feeling of an old home, a sense of community due to its inviting shared spaces (dining, tea areas), with the benefits of clean new amenities (bidet, air conditioning). the owners take a significant amount of care in maintaining the place, and it is plain to see. the room was spotless, breakfast was delicious and gave us a taste is traditional kinmenese breakfast along with their freshly picked fruits from their own yard. linens were fresh, slippers were provided, bed was cozy, and the environment was absolutely gorgeous. waking up every morning to freshly prepared foods with 2 adorable cats wandering around looking for scratches was always so enjoyable. then after breakfast, going outside and relaxing on their front porch, listening to the birds and writing some post cards to friends and family, only to be joined by the cats looking to sunbathe made the experience all the more inviting. the proprieters were always very eager to share with us the history of the property, along with the thought process behind its design. the history of the property is very rich, starting from the late 1800s, through the era of Japanese occupation, then world war 2, then the battles with the mainland china government, before being passed down to the current owners who decided to rebuild what was once lost, and share it with his guests. I encourage any guest to talk to the proprietors and learn about the history of his family and property. it will help color in a part of kinmen's fascinating yet tumultuous past.

not really issues specific to this property or even within their control. but neighbors sometimes burn crops or ghost money in the morning, making the air quality less than desirable. luckily this usually doesn't last long, and you may not even notice it at all depending on the wind pattern. the bathroom doesn't have any ventilation and personally coming from a place that values wet dry separated bathrooms, I found having wet floors after showers always taking some getting used to.
