This is an incredible little hotel just outside Montauban which was simply perfect for our one night stay. It is a former family home and this unique and incredibly personal experience is unlike any hotel we have stayed in. We were literally welcomed into a family home where we were welcomed and shown around by the owner who also explained some of the family history. The house is graceful and beautifully decorated standing in beautiful grounds with a lovely outdoor pool, duckpond and tucked away seating areas. The breakfast was first class with lots of cheese and meats alongside cereal and fruit which we could eat on the terrace overlooking the grounds. Personal suggestions for somewhere to eat alongside the offer of booking a table were a superb and most welcome touch. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone looking to stay in the region. The rooms all have a personal story and personal name which is an additional touch of heritage. Soak up the history and enjoy the feeling of being lady, or lord of the manor. We even enjoyed a little game of boules. A perfect stay.

You will definitely need a car if you are staying here as the house is not in a central location which means driving is a necessity. There are also few options for walking in the countryside nearby.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms with a fabulous bathroom. They had thought of everything that you might need. The pool area was lovely and very welcome as it was hot. Breakfast was great.
