About this house rental
Beautiful manor palace in the Plaza de Doña Elvira, in the center of the Barrio de Santa Cruz. It is a house that occupies the entire side of the square. It was built by the famous architect Fernando Chueca Goitia as his family home in Seville. It is the only house with garden and swimming pool two minutes from the Cathedral in the very heart of the Historical Quarter. A wonderful exclusivity.
It is accessed by an iron gate and the first thing we find is its garden with its palm trees, wisteria, and its wonderful pool. With chairs, chairs, the smell of orange blossom, and although this in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the history area, is a haven of peace. Linda with the Venerables.
Then you access the house by a large staircase.
Once inside the house, we have on our left a small room with its bathroom with shower, and in front of it is the kitchen. Following this main floor there is a guest toilet, then a large dining room and then the living room. We go up to the first floor and we have a large double room with its full bathroom, we call it the pink room, with 2 beds of 110 x2. Next we call the green room, with a King size double bed with its shower cloth. These beds can be divided into two 90 x2 beds.
Finally we get to a small exit, then a large bathroom and the main room, which we call blue, with King size double bed.
All of it with large windows overlooking the beautiful Plaza de Doña Elvira. Breathtaking views and with the peace and smell of orange blossom garden. An authentic palace in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighborhood.
ATTENTION.
The house also has a completely independent tower, with occupancy for 4, which also use the garden and pool.
You can rent the whole property, so that your use of the garden and pool would be completely private.

Gorgeous home decorated in true Andalusian style. If you appreciate architecture & design, love being in the center of an authentic Sevilla neighborhood, this house is for you. Such a pleasure to stay here- please take good care of it so that visitors may continue to experience the magic that is Dona Elvira.

Our family loved this location, it was within just a few hundred yards of literally dozens of places to eat and sites to see (Cathedral, etc.). Arrival from airport will require a dropoff about 150 yds from the villa, as vehicles are not allowed (nor would they be able!) to pull up to this part of the Historic District. But very short walk. Check-in easy, home fully stocked with key appliances, very clean, it felt like a fancy hotel but we had it all to ourselves. We were there in a major heatwave (temps>100F for multiple days), the AC in the villa worked fine so we were able to sleep at night. We recommend renting bikes (there are spots all over the area). Host was lovely and responsive, both prior to our arrival in Spain and then while we were in Sevilla. Good stuff, you will enjoy your stay here!

Not particularly clean when we arrived. Mustiness .Master bedroom has bed that is well worn. Kitchen is very small and not well appointed for cooking meals. Very small oven. Not many dish towels, napkins, not enough dishwasher soap, we left the kitchen much cleaner than it was when we arrived !
Not enough keys for a large group of people
Clothes Washing Machine doesn’t work well and leaves soap on your clothes... No dryer
Great location and spacious for a large group.
Lots of beautiful antiques throughout
Outdoor patio by the pool very worn and unkempt..
Overall we made due but the apartment needs a facelift
Communication with the owner difficult because she doesn’t live there
