About this villa rental
Villa Ilida is situated in Korakochori village, in a private olive grove with access to a bay and views of the Ionian Sea, with clear day and night views of Zante. The villa has it own private garden and entrance. The short-term lease registration number is 000001791888. A spacious and architecturally designed house with a personal and hospitable touch, it can comfortable accommodate up to 5 people. Large veranda and garden, barbeque and terrace shower, garden furniture , dining area with view are just a few of the amenities of the ground floor. Both bedrooms on the second floor have comfortable furniture and their own balcony with breathtaking views. The living room includes a dining area.
The owners live next door, very convenient in case you need anything!
The property itself once belonged and is adjacent to the Mercouri Estate. The Mercouri estate is extensive with over 150 years of history in the production of wine, olive oil and in the olden days Corinthian grapes (or currants). A walk to the winery Mercouri (which has a small museum) and the surrounding villages will be a great experience.
Great monuments and archaeological Unesco World Heritage Sites such as Olympia (the birthplace of the ancient Olympics) , the temple of Epicurius Apollo and Ancient Elis are at a close distance. Katakolo a picturesque little village with shops, restaurants and cafes is only a 3 km drive from the villa.

We chose this location for two reasons - privacy and easy accessibility to ancient Olympia. We have not regretted once. With its own access to the sea, a shady area where at any time of the day you can find a place to rest, a cosy house with everything you need, comfortable beds - all this made our stay at the villa unforgettable. And the fact that the owners (very hospitable) are nearby and at any time ready to help (from advice on where to go for dinner to health problems) creates that peace of mind that is always needed when you rent a house in which something can stop working. We all really enjoyed it. We have been renting holiday homes for many years and found this villa to be ideal for a family with grown up children. Some tips: rubber slippers for bathing and buy as much drinking water as possible on the way to the villa so you don't have to drive to get it.

Amazing surroundings, wonderful nature, great view of the sea; you sleep with the sound of the sea with the Ionian Islands in the background. The garden is perfect for kids, the house has everything you need. The owners are very hospitable (φιλοξενία), thank you very much (ευχαριστουμε πολυ)!

Both the house and the garden are beautiful, very clean and well accommodated with direct and private access to the sea and, last but not least, Anna and Panos are lovely hosts , very discreet but always there to help : big thanks from our whole family for this wonderful week !
