About this cottage rental
Open plan living area, with wood burning fire for those cooler months. Corner settee, satellite TV and coffee table.
Kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, crockery. Dining area with table and five chairs.
Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe, set of drawers, bedside tables and lamps.
Bedroom 2 has bunk beds, chest of drawers, lamp and chair.
A camp bed can be put on the landing for a further person.
Bathroom has a shower cubicle, wash hand basin, toilet and vanity unit.
There is also a downstairs toilet.
We have a laundry room with a washing machine.
Linen is included free of charge.
The property is cleaned for your arrival and we do ask that you leave the property in a good clean tidy condition. An end of stay cleaning service can be arranged.

Nous avons passé 3 semaines plutôt bonnes , balades en forêt 5000 m2 , découvrir les villages de Mervant et Vouvant ! Très bonne auberge pour ce restauré ! Séjour agréable ! .

We received a wonderful welcome from Vanessa and Paul, along with a
Bottle of wine which set the mood for the week. The Gite was excellent, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, everything we could have hoped for and more. The fan was a lovely thought in the bedroom.
We had lovely meals locally in Vouvant village at Auberge de Pannettier,
Moules and frites recommended, a really good choice and very reasonable.
We went to several lovely places close to, Mervant Forest, Coulon, very pretty and lots to do. Good Super U at Chatagnie about 10 minutes away and a good boulangerie in Vouvant. Again a super holiday.

The gite exceeded our expectations, it was well equipped, tidy, clean and very spacious for 2 adults with 2 younger children. The grounds are lovely, the pool wonderful, and the chickens a great additional surprise for 2 excited young children. A very peaceful location and ideally suited for many great days out, to the local zoo, nearby lake with beach, 5 minutes from a wonderful local village with boulangerie, cafes, restaurant, sites to see,10 minutes from larger supermarket, 15 minutes from a larger town with many cafes restaurants, churches, local forest with amazing children's park. There are many, many villages around and the whole area is unspoiled by commercialism. Truly a great place to be and the owners with their family live on site, speak English and are absolutely lovely.
