Breakfast was very generous the location was walkable to everything.
Very steep outside stairs to the second story where our room was. Dangerous due to frost/ice in Winter. Property probably not suitable for anyone who has trouble managing steep stairs.

The location was pretty good, but we arrived at a time where we didn’t get to appreciate it, much. As we were the only tenants at the time, parking was no problem. Breakfast was pretty good. The host was very nice, polite, helpful, and accommodating. This was one of the cheaper options.
The house is a bit old-fashioned, so the bathroom sink has a separate knob for cold water and a separate knob for hot water. They have a heated blanket, but it seemed like the power source was not working, and we didn’t want to disturb the host to fix it. There is a private bathroom, but it’s not attached to the room. The entire lake tekapo area is quite expensive.
