Everything went well. 3 days prior to arrival we dropped in to the hotel to ask what happens if we were unable to get there in a few days (snow was due and there was a strong possibility the mountain passes would be closed - which is what happened but we were lucky to just avoid this happening to us). We would have been able to cancel at a late stage if the roads were closed and beyond our control.
The only small gripe - the restaurant was closed during our stay (only open later in the week)

Location was good
When I was concerned about saftley regarding my travels to tekapo due to snow and asking to reschedule staff were rude regarding their policies around this also parking to get to hotel before check in we called as there was no parking and staff were not helpful at all the man was lovely but the two lady's were not very helpful or pleasant I heard them speaking about be before they muted the phone and it was distasteful and unprofessional also the spare blanket had crusty staining on it so Just bare in mind
