bright new apartment situated in a quiet area not far from the historic center (Republic barrier), the Citadel Park and the shopping center "Barilla Center". In just 10 minutes you can walk to the central square of the city (Piazza Garibaldi).
Area served by public transport with links to the train station and all the other areas of the city (including the fair and airport). The accommodation is suitable for couples, to business travelers, families and groups.
In the nearby shopping center "Barilla Center" there are shops, supermarket, bookstores, restaurants, cinemas and parks.

Centrally located and neat as a pin. This is ideal for large groups given its 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Host was very helpful with locating a parking garage less than a 5 minute walk from the property and 12 euros/day, as you can’t park on the street.

This apartment was in a very central location and was quite spacious so we had lots of room to spread out. The downside was that it was so super hot while we were in Parma and the apartment does not have A/C. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting during cooler months.

From the moment we were greeted by the family, we knew this place was going to be a gem. Perfect location with excellent restaurants in neighborhood yet easy walk to Duomo or Parco Cittadella. I have lupus and the walking was no issue for me in this location. Apartment itself is absolutely everything as shown in listing. Clean, beautiful furnishings and well stocked with anything you need. There is a great bar for caffe down the block and a farmacia. Highly recommend! My family certainly enjoyed staying here while we were in Parma.

This apartment is beautiful and very large. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated, but the living room retains its old world charm. The location is convenient, and there is a bus stop a few minutes walk (take the 3, 4 or 5 to the city center) and a shopping mall with a nice grocery store. There’s a great gelato place around the corner too. Victor was very friendly and helpful getting us situated. The building is super quiet and having an elevator was a lifesaver. Beautiful tree-lined street in a residential neighborhood. Would stay here again without question. Thanks Fam Garbara!

Owner was lovely - even accommodating an early check-in. The apartment is very large. The first night my husband and I slept in a room that had a very hard, uncomfortable mattress. Luckily we only needed 3/4 bedrooms and changed rooms to a more comfortable bed. Our major complaint was the temperature of the apartment which the owners don’t control. It was very cold and therefore uncomfortable. Perhaps a better place to stay in the summer time or when the temperature is more mild. The other nuisance was that we couldn’t park in the street and had to park in a public garage a couple of blocks away at 12 euros/day. However, we knew about this when we booked. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

We stayed for a few days while attending our daughter’s college graduation at a nearby city. We had easy access to the city bus and train station by walking. The apartment was BEAUTIFUL, clean, and very practical for our family stay. We were very comfortable and felt at home immediately. We will stay again if visiting the Parma area. We had a great stay at this very large apartment. The apartment is centrally located but on a nice quiet side street. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. There is garage parking nearby and you can walk to restaurants, grocery stores, and a mall. I would highly recommend this apartment.

This was a memorable Italy trip for our family of 5 as well as our friends family of 4. Vittorio was a fantastic host in every way during our 3 week stay. Parking was very near as was the bus to catch the train to the neighboring towns as well as cities throughout Italy. This flat made it super convenient to walk to anywhere in Parma and our flat mates even enjoyed the proximity to the Stadium for a soccer game. Perfect location and host! Thank you Parma!

Vittorio met us and helped us to work out our parking issues (large van=bad idea in Italy!) and showed us through the place. Loads of space and everything we needed. A short 5 minutes walk to cafe's, markets and speciality stores and another 5 minutes walk to the stunning historical centre of Parma. Highly recommended.

The apartment was perfect. It was spacious, immaculate and in a perfect location to explore Parma and its surrounding. We were able to walk to all of the sites in central Parma. The neighborhood was beautiful and had all the essentials within two blocks including supermarket, produce market, specialty food market, bus stop, taxi stand, restaurants, ATM, and according to our taxi driver, and the best gelato place in Parma. The train station was less than 2 km away and was an easy walk or an 8 euro taxi ride. Our hosts were very responsive to all our needs and went out of there way to insure our 18 night stay was comfortable. We enjoyed meeting our hosts Fam, Vittorio, Benedetta, and Caterina. We would definity return for another stay.

The apartment was much larger than photos show. It was clean and well appointed. Communication before we arrived was excellent, and Vittorio was very helpful upon our arrival and arranging a taxi to take us to the train at departure time. Unfortunately we spent three days in Parma during an unusual heat wave. The apartment was not air conditioned, there were no fans, and open windows invited mosquitoes. So we ended up being pretty miserable at night. However, I would not hesitate to return to this apartment during more favorable weather. It is really a lovely apartment and excellent location. Very good places to eat, markets, and a galleria within a few blocks.

Our family of 4 adults stayed here while attending the wedding of the son of family friends. Se Gambara met us at the property, gave us a tour and showed us how to use everything. The property was beautiful, well appointed and every appliance had great instructions on how to use. The beds wer comfortable, the bathrooms large and sparkly clean. Whenever we had a question we sent a quick WhatsApp message and had an immediate response. Easy walking distance to all that is important to see, and an easy bus line to the train station. Local markets to get fruit and bread. Lovely stay, lovely people! Grazie!

The apartment was spacious and well located in a nice residential neighborhood one block from the main town of Parma. The owner was nice and gracious. He provided bottled water and some food for us to start our vacation. However, the apartment was cold. No heat, which we understand is normal for Italy at this time of year, but it was cold and rainy outside and only one bedspread, no blankets, to keep us warm. Bath towels were sparse, one set each for six days. Washing machine provided, but did not work. We departed three days early because of all of the above.

The large apartment was very clean, well appointed with every thing you could need and more. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences. The beds were comfortable and there is ample closet space. The location of the apartment is on a quiet street and just minutes walk to the town square. There is a grocery store within two blocks of the apartment and has everything you would want. The host met us at the apartment and went over all the details and they also provide an instruction book with how to use all the appliances etc. We had a wonderful time in Parma and I would definitely stay here again.

Our extended family (six adults) had a wonderful week long stay at this property. The location was convenient to the city center and supermarket, and a good walk or short taxi to the train station. The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable and equipped to meet all our needs. Also, we greatly appreciated the groceries provided for our stay. (One note- there is an extra fee per guest above 4, although the apartment sleeps 9. We so enjoyed our stay in the Gambara Family's apartment; it was lovely, bright, and very spacious. The apartment is well-appointed, and it is apparent that a lot of thought went into the planning for a rental unit, as they have provided practically everything you could ask for. Indeed, the only things we found missing were scissors and ice trays! so, that was quite incidental. Mr. Gambara was very patient and gracious about meeting my husband and I later than expected, as we had problems at the airport. We really appreciated his kindness .

We were 5 adult men who stayed here for 2 nights. Apartment was extremely clean and within walking distance to center of city. Parking was pretty easy once we figured out how the system worked. Vittorio the owner was fantastic, he took the time to explain everything to us and his English was great. I highly recommend this location.

Our stay was satisfactory in all respects but one: HomeAway did not put us in touch with the owners, and did not reply to my enquiry as to who to contact, where and when for arrival. What information was online was in Italian and so not immediately understandable. The telephone number of the owner was missing a digit so I could not contact them. The HomeAway app is useless generally, the service needs to become slicker to be useful.
