JUNE 2021 LAST MINUTE BOOKING FOR €50 LESS PER NIGHT
When you enter the gate at Tower Villas, you see a place where you feel safe and relaxed.In Thyme Tower you will enter the circular kitchen with its own dining area and to your right you see the cosy sitting area. Walking through you come to the spacious terrace with permanent shade, privacy and views. The pool is one level down and big enough to really swim and is surrounded by a sunny area and trees.Thyme Tower consists of twin circular towers of three stories and a one story lounge area.The larger tower contains the kitchen/dining area downstairs and the two bedrooms upstairs. The smaller tower contains the real castle like spiral stairs. In the kitchen you will find everything you expect to find in a modern well equipped kitchen.In the lounge area are comfortable chairs and a cosy sit-tee which can be converted into a double bed. On the wall is a media centre with satellite TV, a portable installation for your Ipod or MP3 player and a DVD player. Connected to the lounge area is a small room with the down stairs toilet a wash basin and the washing machine and storage for domestic equipment. You will also find a small microwave here.
When you climb the spiral stairs to the first floor you will find your selves in a romantic castle room. In the centre of the round room,is a round bed from where you have a spectacular view through the balcony doors to Vasiliki bay and the islands of Keffalonia and Ithaka. Behind the circular wall around the bed you will find your own private toilet and shower and wash basin. From your balcony your view widens and becomes even more spectacular.
One floor up along the spiral stairs,is the the second bedroom with two single beds, also its own toilet, shower and wash basin and a window with a beautiful view.

Totally secluded property, very private and well hosted. A short drive to the beach and would have been a 15-20 minute walk, but privacy was worth rhe driveLovely island, and the town welcomed tourists. Restaurants were well priced which is a pleasant change and the village is very basic and not very developed which adds to the charm. Highly recommended for a quiet break, more so if you love water sports

Magical place, private, pool is wonderful and set back a short distance from Vasiliki. You feel like you are at a rural property (I even saw a fennec fox) but 5 mins to the village and restaurants. There are sets of stairs on the narrow streets if you want to walk. Bear in mind there is a very rumpty stony driveway for maybe 500m. I had a road bike so walked it and changed shoes. It’s not a problem and adds to the rural feel. We also saw a little tortoise on the driveway.
This property has a wonderful staff member Mirela, who will solve any issue very fast. She can work the electrics, service the pool, gardens and works between the three towers. Wonder Woman basically. Get her number off the wall and the holiday will be smooth.
The aircon in the bedroom is quite loud, so if you need it on all night you might want earplugs. The house itself is lovely and cool inside. Follow the restaurant recommendations on the wall. It was brilliant to have these. The one called Rachi you need to book for dinner and Maria’s. Some are a drive to the mountains or sunset views. Others are quirky like Maria’s Tavern, tiny tucked away family home. Go to the butchery in Vasiliki to get BBQ meats.

Haben die Tage in der Villa sehr genossen und uns super wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Die Zimmer sind raffiniert eingerichtet und einfach gemütlich. Es gibt verschiedene Kopfkissen, damit für jeden was dabei ist. Super Pool und Blick aufs Meer. Es kam täglich jemand vorbei zum Pool reinigen und fragen, ob alles ok ist. Haben auch super Tipps bekommen. Bei der Anreise lohnt es sich nach dem Weg vorher zu fragen, denn Google Maps führt einen über eine ganz üble Schotterpiste zum Haus. Es gibt einen besseren Weg mit einem kürzeren Teil Schotterpiste. Kommen gerne wieder!

Waar wordt je nog opgehaald van het vliegveld en welkom geheten met taart? Bij ons was dit wel het geval en we hadden direct het gevoel dat we erg welkom waren.
Prachtige locatie en een erg leuke omgeving. Thyme toren van alle gemakken voorzien en een geinig groot rond 2 persoons bed.
Mooi flink zwembad voor de deur en een prettig terras met grote eettafel. De poezen familie maakte het af en zat gezellig naast ons. Kan komen omdat we ze eten gaven...:)
De torens liggen een stuk de berg op, wat op zich geen probleem is. Wij deden alles te voet of met de fiets. Auto is makkelijker, vooral als je de buurt wilt verkennen. Maar zonder is het ook te doen. Lefkada bijvoorbeeld is goed met de bus te bereiken.
Al met al hebben we erg weinig uitgevoerd tijdens ons verblijf, heerlijk luieren! De toren is hier prima geschikt voor. Mooie keuken en diverse extraatjes zoals een iPod station en dvd speler.
De toren is koel in de zomer en betrekkelijk warm in de winter, we hebben de airco weinig gebruikt, hoewel het behoorlijk warm was tijdens ons verblijf ( top was 35 graden).
Uitzicht vanuit het raam is erg mooi, uiteraard een paar mooie foto's gemaakt!
Ritueel in de ochtend met de fiets de berg af om brood te halen. Omlaag is net iets leuker dan omhoog...
