Locul Uptown - Near Bangalore Palace Grounds

My Room was clean and large with a chair and table. Ample space in the drawing room and balcony. The kitchen is well stacked. I could do my own cooking. The food provided by staff (for a nominal fee) was also good. The neighborhood is also quiet and clean with fresh, windy air flowing all the time. There is at least one nearby restaurant called Sri Vishnu Park Vasanthnagar offering delicious south and north Indian meals.

The shower in my room did not have enough pressure. But otherwise, the geyser was working and the water was hot enough.

Amazing staff. Not far from the city center and the overall vibe of the place is quiet and homely.

A clean hostel with great AC in a lovely leafy part of the city that’s quiet at night but still very central. All of the staff were very knowledgable and chatty and gave me great tips on what to see and do in the city!

Only location was good rest stay was ok. Look for other options if you get a better deal.

Breakfast was just HORRIBLE. I even gave a feedback to the reception they charged Rs 160 for absolutely Burnt Dosa & Coffee. Rooms had Damp walls which dint create a pleasant environment, The bed was sagged and dint have any curtains or anything for privacy, Morning breakfast plates and Mugs I has to clean and wash. I have stayed in many Hostels across India and Europe so I am not new to this experience. I booked a AC Room but it had trimming you cant switch on in the Morning and the AC dint even cool at 22 Temp with only 2-3 people in the room.
