This is not a rustic cabin! Our brand-new, fully modern 2400 square-foot, 3 bedroom home offers you all the comforts and open spaces you'll need for that unforgettable trip to the Yosemite area with your extended family or friends. And once again you can even enjoy a relaxing soak in our hot tub!

Our unique home overlooks the upper reaches of the Lewis Creek watershed at an elevation of nearly 5000 feet. In the summer, the climate here ranges from comfortable daytime highs that average in the upper 70's (~25 degrees Celsius), to cool evenings with average lows in the low 50's (~10 degrees Celsius).
At this elevation the sun is intense all year round. There is nearly always a gentle breeze blowing during the day. There is very little or no rain during the summer months so humidity levels are very low and swimsuits air-dry quickly. Spring and early fall are the seasons of dynamic color and wetter weather. Late fall, winter and early spring are quiet seasons of incredible beauty. Along with this beauty comes the possibility of ice and snow on mountain roads and on our steep driveway.
Our prime location puts you away from the crowds, yet close to everything Yosemite has to offer. The southern entrance to Yosemite is less than four miles up the road. If you love the outdoors, this is the place to call home. There is so much do to here that you could easily fill your day with excitement without ever entering the park itself!

Host was amazing. Great communication. The house and all the amenities were outstanding. Seriously couldn’t have had a better experience. We will absolutely return. If you want to stay near the park in an amazing home with beautiful views this is your place.

The most amazing property- so clean, comfortable, loads of extras and well equipped place with amazing views from every room and deck. The dark skies and stars were wonderful. David and Suzanne are amazing, caring hosts and helped us with very knowledgeable and thoughtful advice due to weather conditions. We can’t thank them enough x Do not hesitate to book this place/ you will not be disappointed

Everything we needed and such a beautiful home. Beautiful views. Plenty space and stocked with towels and sleeping options for a large group. David was so helpful from inquiry to booking to the stay itself. We appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was with utensils, pots, pans, plates etc. Lots of games to keep us occupied and we loved the jacuzzi. Trash must be taken off site only 5 minutes up the road. Also the driveway is windy and uphill, some sharp turns, personally wouldn’t drive on it at night (personal preference!) Only an hour out from Yosemite and literally down the street from the south entrance/Mariposa Grove. I would definitely stay here again should I be in Yosemite! And the connected decks and stairs were nice.

I would easily give this house a 10/10 except for the fact the oven did not work. The owner mentioned that previous guest had mentioned this to him and he offered us a "fix" to try to get it to work. Had we known the oven was not working, we would have planned meals accordingly. Instructions on how to heat the hot tub would be helpful as we could not get it to reach a temperature past 90. The location to Yosemite is perfect, the peace and quiet and stargazing are amazing. The host is quick to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Kitchen is well stocked and we had plenty of towels, blankets and bathroom amenities,
