About this house rental
A very nice vacation home with private pool, green garden and a comfortable interior. The house is located in Calvisson or 14 km from Nîmes with its impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site. Linger in the large living room or lie on the lawn by the pool to sunbathe. In total, the house has three terraces, ideal for lounging and cozy barbecues. In Nîmes, antiquity is present at every turn. Experience there the temple Maison Carrée, the Temple of Diana, the monumental parkland Jardins de la Fontaine and the famous arenas that provide a fitting setting for concerts throughout the year. The Castellum Aquae takes you back in time to the city's past and quickly suggests a visit to the Pont du Gard. The Tour Magne is also worthwhile, and the planetarium is fun for young and old. The Museum of Fine Arts, a museum of modern art and a museum about the old town of Nîmes also await culture fans here. Continue your trip to Uzès, which also has a lot of medieval charm. On the way, you can stop at Saint-Chaptes to visit the Green Park. After returning to the cottage, swim a few lengths in the pool and enjoy a homemade aperitif in the sun. The Gard is all this and much more.
