About this house rental
The house has beautiful uninterrupted views of the sea in the distance in front and of a dramatic uninhabited valley behind. The property has a very light and warm natural feel thanks to the natural materials that we used when we renovated it: terracotta tiles, stone floors, exposed stone walls, traditional oiled wooden doors and shutters and hand made decorative tiles used tastefully throughout. Two private terraces and a garden provide ample opportunity to enjoy the sun and views, relaxing and enjoying the quietness of the valley under the sun or in the shade of our great awning; or go inside to the open plan living/dining room and relax in front of the wood burning burning fire on a chilly winter evening. Beautiful views from absolutely EVERYWHERE. Plenty of space to enjoy the good weather and plenty of open space inside too.
Enjoy the lovely communal swimming pool in Macharaviaya, 2 minutes away, in July and August!
You can also book the tennis court in Macharaviaya!
We do not provide wood, you can buy it very nearby, I can provide details...
Please be aware that stays of 28 days or more are charged a monthly fee, and that is cheaper than per days or weeks. In these cases, the tenants will have to pay of electricity (and gas for the gas heaters and wood if used). Thanks!
We collect 90 eur as deposit for electricity per month, separatly and before arrival, and then return money not used, or ask for more if needed, but it's extremelly unlikely that more than 90 eur electricity is paid, average in winter is around 65 eur monthly or less, we have solar panels to heat water.
Long stays of 28 days or more also pay 70 eur cleaning fee instead of 55, so we will ask for the difference :-)
We accept pets, but please ASK. Pets pay 25 eur per pet and stay, but, if you stay 28 days or more, pets pay 40 eur.
Barbacue UNDER REQUEST, has an extra cost of 20 eur for cleaning.

Thoroughly enjoyed saying here for two weeks, it’s comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Handy for Malaga (about 40 mins) and the nearest beach is only about 15/20 minutes away. It’s very peaceful with great views high up in the hills and with three terraces it was always possible to find sun or shade. It’s often small things which make a difference I’ve stayed in several places in Spain where the kitchen knives couldn’t cut butter; not a problem here which all helped to make for an enjoyable stay. Would be happy to make a return visit sometime in the future.

Maison agréable et rustique située dans un village perché avec vue imprenable depuis les terrasses.
Toute fois environnement un peu bruyant le soir.
Depuis Benaque nous avons visité Malaga,Grenade et Nerja...à ne pas manquer.
La plage la plus proche et la plus sympa est à Rincon de la Victoria avec ses sardines et autres poissons à la broche.
Mais la station balnéaire à ne pas rater est Nerja ( grande plage plusieurs criques ,vue imprenable sur le balcon de l"Europe, petites rues commerçantes typiques)
La piscine de Macharaviaya est bien agreable et l'accueil sympathique .
Pour les visites culturelles voir Malaga et bien sûr Grenade.
