Luxury Malioboro Hotel

Our stay at the Luxury Maliobro was excellent. The staff were very kind and attentive and the facilities were clean and exactly what you need. Breakfast was varied- both Indonesian and Western food. Location is 3 minute walk from all that Maliobro has to offer.

Walking distance to Stasiun Tugu and convinience store nearby. Near to Musolla just a few steps. At night so quite eventhough next to Stasiun Tugu.

We only stayed for 5 hours, arriving at 8 AM (a very late check-in) and checking out at 12:30 PM. The breakfast was varied and tasty and The room and bed were quite comfortable.

1. Our father uses a wheelchair and there is a very steep ramp that does not seem to be suitable for wheelchairs (because it is so steep it is impossible to pull a wheelchair up with that level of steepness, at least two people must help). 2. When checking in, we were asked for a deposit in the form of 100,000 Rupiah cash which can be withdrawn upon check out if nothing happens, we do not know what it is for. We prefer non-cash because nowadays we rarely have cash and this is the first time in our experience staying overnight in a hotel that someone asked for a deposit. 3. My 85-year-old father fell from a chair in the room because one of the chair legs broke. When we checked out, we complained about this, but the receptionist on duty at that time (the same receptionist at check in = all women) did not apologize or express proper regrets = even minimal. We suspect they are new and inexperienced receptionists. If they have been working as receptionists for a long time, it is very unfortunate that their performance is poor. We hope not to stay at this hotel in the future.
