The Hermitage by The Cosy Hotels Near Lotus Temple

The hotel feels like it would have been quite stylish in its heyday, though now it’s showing signs of age and could use some renovations and modern touches. That said, it still offers a reasonably comfortable stay. The location is fairly good, with easy access to both rickshaws and Uber, making it simple to get around. It’s about a half-hour ride into the main part of Delhi, which worked well for sightseeing and exploring. The staff were reasonably helpful and friendly, and seemed genuinely keen to assist with any questions or concerns. My room was neat, tidy, and comfortable, though the cleaning could definitely be improved. As a solo traveller, I felt safe during my stay, which was important to me. Overall, it’s a decent mid-range option if you don’t mind a property that’s a little past its prime.

I like the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly. Food quality was great. The location and the property was quite good. The room was well maintained and cleaned.will visit again.

My stay was very comfortable. Also Staff was very helpful. Iskcon and lotus temple is near by. Easily transport available. I enjoyed my stay. Food was awesome. They have a lot of varieties in menu. All over great experience. Thanks to the hermitage team who make my stay was great.

I know it was a 3 star and as usual the photos are not the same as when you actually get to the property. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, linen was grey and stained. Shower pressure was non existent. Generally needed a good scrub. From the 8 out of 10 rating on Booking.com I just expected better. Breakfast was massively weighted to native Indian tastes plain omelette and bread and one cereal for western clients.
