Shali Lodge is one of those places that stays with you. The karshif architecture expresses so much of Siwa’s tradition and its connection to nature. In the rooms, I felt completely at ease and slept like a baby. There is something special about staying somewhere that feels so deeply rooted in the place around it.
The atmosphere is wonderful, especially in the common area and the food, teas & juices served here were amazing. What made the experience even richer was the team. They were warm and generous to share their culture with us.
A special thank you to Anwar. He arranged everything for us and helped with anything we needed..
It filled my heart and it was difficult to leave Siwa and the magical Shali Lodge. But I already know I will return!
