L Ametlla Del Valles: house / villa - L'Ametlla del Vallès

We had booked a week in Ana’s cozy house. We were received by Ana and her mother in the house, given a warm welcome and a careful tour. The garden is super pleasant, very green and unobstructed. The pool lives up to the pictures, but it is difficult to keep clean due to the many trees in the garden. There are good shopping opportunities for groceries 4 minutes by car from the home, the town has a few small cozy shops. Ana’s kindness is definitely worth highlighting. We needed help to find a mechanic and subsequently to send something we had forgotten. She helped with both parts! The only negatives about the house are that if you are there in the height of summer, it is too hot. We had to go out and buy some fans - otherwise we would never have been able to sleep. The house is really good and I would have liked to have paid extra if there had been an air conditioner. The pump for the pool makes a lot of noise and it was difficult to sit in the garden and talk, because the noise. The green garden attract many wasps, but we were also there in the height of summer.

It's a quiet place and only 5 minutes to the railway station, that takes you to the capital of Catalunya, and even to the pyrenean mountains. There are a lot of books about art and culture, information, maps, games etc. The whole family enjoyed to stay there and can recommend this oasis."
