Camping Roca Grossa

Nice campsite, first we stayed at, which is located on the hills, but it has some advantages, because no-one is on the top of each other, every plot/parking is spread over the steps of the hill. We rented the mobile home, it was great, with nice terrace and fantastic views of the sea. Nice big pool, tennis court, table tennis, volleyball court, everything to your disposal. They have a transfer organised during the day, from the bottom of the hill to the top, which makes it easier for getting around. Well stocked shop on the grounds, restaurant for a quick lunch. There’s an access to the local beach, which is not big, but nice if you like to swim in the sea ( which we do), so we were there every day.

Nothing I can think about.

The campsite is on a hill / so not ideal for people that can't walk up steep hills & steps, but it provides a great view of the ocean and down the coastline for those that can. It is also very close to some lovely quiet beaches and only a 1km from the main beach of Calella.

My only complaint is that the fences that have been used around the campsite edge spoil the view as they are wire fences, that the eyes don't like to look at (straight lines are not found in nature so we don't particularly like them) and give the appearance & feel of being in a prison camp. I appreciate that fences are expensive, but if they could replace the key fences that spoil the lovely views with fences that don't ruin the sky line view it would tick all the boxes!

Well equipped,staff was very friendly,the view was amazing. It is perfect for families with kids,the kids pool is really nice. Close to the beaches and the town.

It is situated on a big hill and if you have to walk its quite a heavy one. But there is a little train to take people up the hill and every area of the camping is accessible by car.

Excellent view. Nice and confortable. Lots of facilities. Very helpfull staff.
