Shymaa is an exceptional manager, and she’s incredibly friendly with guests. Nada has a fantastic accent, and I particularly enjoyed her saying “tayoka” 😂😂😂. Thanks, girls, for your unwavering support.

The room lights were strong enough to read by! Adequate charging points. Close proximity to the Bridge area, with its shops & restaurants. Storage shelves. Large bathroom (cleaner than some, but see below) Some nice art in rooms.

I politely asked for a towel the very moment I got there. After asking every day for 4 days. I finally gave up defeated, after I was offered a grimy bathroom mat! Like some other hotels here, they do not prepare at all for the guest, even if that guest has paid some weeks in advance! I was stupidly expecting a bath towel, a bar of soap & a toilet roll to be sitting on my bed, but no, nothing! The bathroom fittings were in poor shape! There's a lot of nice wood that really needs restoring/polishing. The AC unit & fans had never been cleaned. It's such a shame that this nice hotel isn't maintained well. It would be so easy! A damp patch on the wall is easy enough to sand & paint, but one gets the feeling it will take years rather than days. If there was a breakfast, it was a clandestine breakfast. I could have asked, but I felt I had already put out the staff enough asking for the towel! Worst of all was perpetual, loud talking & even shouting most nights until 4 am. I complained once or twice. (It was some guests). Okay, well please ask them to tone it down! But it wasn't guests, it was staff. So why not go and talk in reception? A little pricey, bearing in mind the above. No attention to details, no consideration. A good lesson here; Look after the guest, like he is your favourite uncle. Who knows, he might even return, or recommend the hotel to friends?!
