Nestled in the tranquility and charm of the Umbrian hills, just a 10-minute drive from Todi, La Ginestra is a vacation home nestled in a tiny town called Monticello, home to an ancient medieval castle. Looking out the windows of the house, you’ll see the town of Todi spread out before you in all its splendor. The house features a large, well-maintained garden with roses and flowers, as well as many plants and blooms, surrounded by about 300 olive trees and woodlands. We are located in the Colli Martani region, home to Sagrantino and many other wines—so much so that Manyfalco and Bevagna are just a 20-minute drive from the house. Rich in culture and set against the backdrop of the beautiful vineyard-covered hills, the area offers fascinating food and wine experiences with over 20 wineries you can visit. The house is located in a very central area, making it easy to visit all the major cities of Umbria (30–40 minutes to Spoleto, Orvieto, Perugia, Terni, and Assisi).

Our family of 8 found this property was more than we could’ve hoped for. It’s convenient to get to Todi, Perugia, and everywhere else you might want to explore. We found the host family to be so accommodating. In fact, they became part of our extended family. If you are considering Umbria as one of your Italy visits, book this home!

The 3 apartments in the house made it ideal for our family reunion. The children and adults enjoyed the big swimming pool in the beautiful garden.
It would have been nice if there would have been some toys around for the children.
We definitely would come back for another holiday.

Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen, drei Kindern und zwei Hunden für eine Woche Gast bei Feliciana. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern, die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Für Pool und Garten gilt das Gleiche. Feliciana und ihre Tochter haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und waren jederzeit für uns ansprechbar. Wir können das Haus 100% empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt und würden immer wieder kommen.
