Kasbah Agounsane Hotel & Spa

Very spacious room, warm welcome and the legendary hospitality from the staff, Badr made our stay even more enjoyable and even helped us find a way to reach Marrakech, thanks again.

Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, lovely pool, great views.

Service was rather slow in the evenings. Would have been nice to have more suggestions for local walks, but with map apps we managed to organise ourselves fine.

Lovely location and facilities. The on property spa services were excellent. Really great views and lots of space. The staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating. We really couldn’t have asked fo a better stay.

The common areas (lobby, terrace, pool area) were lovely. Modern, clean, spaceous and with reasonably good internet. The staff was very friendly and worked hard, at least the fron desk and waiting staff. Food was good, but expensive. Drinks were good, but expensive.

The bathrooms were awful, especially the one in our room (sink clogged, shower leaky and wobbly, dirty), but also the common ones. The one by the pool was infested with dozens of mosquitos. Most of them had brown limescale that looked disgusting. Toilet seats were old and broken etc. The bathroom in our room did not have any curtains or anything else that would block people watching us shower through the window, which is creepy, given there were workers outside our window during the day. The lowlight there was that you were unable to flush toilet paper, but then got nothing but a little basket to throw used toilet paper into - no bin, no lid, no bag, nothing. So, basically you had used toilet paper in an open basket lying next to the toilet. We also suspect that the hotel gave us a worse room that we have paid for, which we signaled, but did not get a resolution. The location only makes sense if you have a car, and a solid one, too. The hotel is located behind a long gravel road that is hard to scale by foot and even with the wrong set of tyres.
