Decumani Prestige

Good location near restaurants and sights. Very friendly and helpful host. Good communication. Clean and spacious room. Space for several people. Probably a traditional Naples flat. We got what we paid for.

There was a smell of mold in the room. The breakfast was light (which we expected). Lack of utensils. The bed is upstairs but the toilet is downstairs (but we managed). The bed and the pillows were comfy except for it was one mattress = Means a bumpy ride for your partner if you move around alot during the night. Toilet cramped, not much space to sit on the toilet.

the property was very clean and in a great lively location

The accomodation was simply perfect, clean, near to the historical centre, station, port, all historical sights. If you want to experience the typical Naples vibrant energy under the window, this is a perfect place.

Cleanliness of room and washroom

We stayed here for 3 nights, but I see in Booking.com it is cancelled. Looks like the host cancelled. One day before check-in, we were informed that only cash will be accepted, which was inconvenient for us as we had to look for ATMs and give extra charges to bank. If informed earlier, we could have arranged the cash before flying to Italy. On informing about the inconvenience, the host gave a discount for the tax bank charged us for cash withdrawal. Also breakfast was cancelled, so we had to have breakfast outside. Although 24€ was deducted from our price for no breakfast, but we had to pay around 11-12 € each day for the most basic breakfast, so it came around 35-36€. We never met the host, only talked through chats. She made arrangement for our self check-in and we kept the money in the cupboard before checking out.
