Staff is very polite and supportive. Good room and locations. Comfortable stay.

Close to Shi Darbar Sahib and Jalianwala Baug. Very friendly staff.

The location

The guest house is very close to the main plaza and extremely convenient. Plenty of street food around if you're game. A few reasonable options for restaurants near by which we were happy with. The boss is very very friendly, kind and will help you organise any tours/drivers you need for a reasonable price e.g. Wagah Border. The staff have limited English but are all very friendly and strive to be helpful.

The cleanliness of the rooms isn't great. Linen appear clean until closer inspection there are lots of debris on them. No major issues but no confident inspiring. The rooms are quite damp from the cold climate and condensation from outside which you can feel in the sheets/pillows/mattress. The rooms are very cold. The boss offers a heater for am extra 300 INR but let us use it for free. The guesthouse is a very narrow building with lots of levels/stairs and about 2 rooms per floor. The staff help you with your luggage but if you have mobility issues... This is absolutely not the place for you. The bathrooms are uninviting. They're dark, extremely cold, questionable cleanliness and we avoided showering because of how unsightly they were. They don't smell great either.
