The accommodation is perfectly situated at the top of a hill offering spectacular views of the Messinian Gulf in an exceptionally peaceful location amongst beautiful gardens with aromatic wild herbs and olive trees. The property is well maintained and equipped with all the mod cons including a washing machine which seems to have been missed off from the facilities in the original listing. The host Peter is very attentive and the welcome gift was a great touch, too. A car is highly recommended for the short uphill drive. It may feel a bit remote but this is an asset if you prefer to be away from busy roads and the area felt safe.
It has a good size pool with comfortable sitting arrangements for day or night; well-lit after hours, too.
Don’t miss the sunrise and sunset views and take advantage of the nearby beach which is often quieter and has a good stretch of sand after the rocky entrance. Shops and restaurants are only a short drive away.
A slightly bigger fridge would be better. The internet was a bit patchy but the views are so amazing that easily make up for it.

Prachtige locatie, en een modern, ruim en schoon appartement. Heel vriendelijke mevrouw in de housekeeping, en als je iets nodig hebt hoef je alleen maar een berichtje te sturen.
Veel overlast van muggen (ook overdag bij het zwembad) en wespen. Als het begint te schemeren ook veel sprinkhanen.
We misten scherpe messen om groenten of vlees mee te snijden tijdens het koken.
De weg omhoog laat te wensen over, maar voldeed uiteindelijk prima.
Tijdens ons verblijf hadden we vervelende bovenburen die extreem luid en vervelend waren bij het zwembad met hun kinderen, en die ons dagelijks in de vroegste uren wekten. Hier kan het hotel weinig tegen doen uiteraard, maar het verstoorde wel onze rust, zeker als het zo'n rustgevende locatie hoort te zijn zoals geadverteerd wordt.

The unit we got was lovely, with a breathtaking view.
A delicious bottle of wine was waiting for us.
The pool was fun, and everything was very clean and Fully equipped .
Highly recommended!

Pool area was lovely with amazing view. shutters and fly screens and air conditioning all good.
property not quite finished and needs a few touches to make it work. needs a few hooks in the bedrooms and a hook for the hand towel in the bathroom. a bit more furniture for personal items. hangers in the wardrobes too high for most people to reach! they are also just the very basic metal kind. chemicals in the pool discoloured all our swimming costumes. suggest the owners stay to test it for themselves. also unclear whether it’s self-catering or a hotel as our beds were made up when we were out… but no other hotel facilities.
