Die Lage des gepflegten Hauses, die Dachterrasse und der Ausblick, die individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Räume, der Schnitt der Wohnung und die gesamte Ausstattung, dazu der Lift, die tolle Dachterrasse: Rundum echt super! Beim Check-In hat uns ein junger und sehr netter Mann begrüßt, der uns alles gezeigt und erklärt hat. Die Besitzer haben uns mit sehr viel frischem Obst, Wasser, Prosecco, Caffè, Pane, Toast, Marmelade, Honig und Pasta, ausgewählten Dolci einer tollen Pasticceria und zusätzlich einem gefüllten Kühlschrank (Eier, Butter, Milch, Käse, Mozzarella, Salami, Bacon, Salt, Tomaten, Getränke) überrascht und willkommen geheißen! Unglaublich vielfältig, so dass man die ersten 3-4 Tage vollkommen versorgt war.

The apartment was beautiful and a wonderful place to recuperate after a long train ride. Our young man who met us, understood our delays due to train travels and was very accommodating. Looking out the front and side windows took my breath away as we were next to a beautiful functioning church. Across the street more beautiful architecture was to be seen, combined with real life happening on the streets below. Surprisingly enough, it was quiet. I loved watching the little shop below open up in the evening with the group of old seasoned men chatting happily over some wine. Having stayed in a variety of apartments now in Italy, this place, by far, was well stocked and thoughtfully so. The fridge held three large litres of water, carton of milk, cheese, eggs, coke, orange juice and an amazing amount of fruit. The cupboards had cookies, rusks, popcorn in a sealed bag. Also, a bottle of red wine awaited us and it was wonderful sipping a glass on top of the apartment on the private patio. I almost forgot the beautiful pastries wrapped up in the fridge waiting for us and a kind note from the owners to enjoy ourselves. We listened to the street noise which was almost non existent and drank in the architecture. The bathroom was also equipped with cotton makeup remover pads, soap, shampoo body wash. Honestly, it was a lovely surprise. It’s a bit of a walk to the tourist trap area, not too far really, but the peace and quiet and realness was cherished. We felt like we were in real Italy.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We were a bit ill for the first day, probably due to exhaustion and didn’t pay attention to the garbage rules so had to leave that for the cleaners to deal with. Sorry.

The apartment is amazing and has everything you could possibly need. The host is very kind and responds to any questions you may have. I found it very nice that we received a fruit basket and, in the fridge, some food and drinks that are enough for two days. The location is in a quiet area compared to the historic center, which you can reach very easily.
