Excellent clean and modern 2 bedroom apartment in a good location for old town

This was our second stay here & we were spoilt the first time as we had the penthouse apartment with panoramic views

The location was good & apartment comfortable. Balcony & sea view also very good.

Most things you need in kitchen were there, could have done with an oven rack as well as a tray. Also a few small things like a grater small sharp knife & a bread knife. There was quite a lot of noise on a few nights from neighbours, just loud talking & moving furniture didn’t stop until 2am.

The bed was small and uncomfortable (had a u shape in the middle) so for one week I didn’t have one good night sleep The bathroom canalization smelled very strong, the shower and the joints were old and very much used which gave an impression of not being clean

Poor hosts Service

Benidorm resort itself was good and overall we enjoyed the visit,Excellent beach,food very good and lots of restaurant and bars

The service from the hosts was poor and never heard from them throughout our stay, not even a message to see if we had got to the apartment okay after the debacle of the airport. To explain we were informed throughout this to call on arrival at the apartment and someone would come out and meet us to handover keys.We had also arranged for a taxi transfer (have screenshot evidence from our conversations of this) We were informed someone would be at the airport to direct us to the transfer and the cost was agreed, however on the morning of the trip we received a video instructing us on how to access property then on arrival at the airport no one was there to meet us, We tried to call only to be bluntly told to send WhatsApp message and the phone was put down then when we enquired as requested about the the transfer,we were directed to arrange a transfer ourselves, proof of the agreed transfer was sent with a further reply recieved saying to arrange transfer ourselves. The light outside the apartment on arrival whilst okay was not working so opening the door was tricky,inside the apartment,the seaview good however we were disappointed to see the settee on closer inspection was covered in sand with a cover put over it that was stained and smelt of smoke as we are non smokers this was not very pleasant .We chose not to sit on the settee throughout the break as would have expected the apartment to have been deep cleaned prior to our arrival. Within the apartment itself there was no information ,no welcome pack, no advice and guidance on places to visit, recommended restaurants or things to do in general,amenities within the apartment like a safe, would have been useful too as well as dishcloths! The information given about the location of the apartment was also misleading as it stated it was close to the old town when it was actually a good 30 minutes walk with the new town being 45 minutes plus walk .

Building work at front and back made it very noisy on the balcony on weekdays. Not the owners fault but not as peaceful as we would like. Very quiet at weekends.

Great location, great staff

The staff was excellent – very flexible and responded quickly via WhatsApp. The price is very good and the location is fantastic – just 2 minutes to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the apartment had almost everything you could need. Free internet and a smartTV. The garden is beautiful. Perfect and lovely.

We didn't see any smoke detectors in the room, which I think are very important

Cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. I do not recommend!!!!!

.The beach is close to the supermarket and pharmacy. But to get to the shops you have to take a car or taxi. It's better to stay closer to the center because of the plaza del Castell...

Cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, the bathroom window that couldn't be closed, the entrance door to the apartment was stuck; you always had to force it to close and open it... Very bad, and they wanted to fix the window while I was leaving, which was a waste of time. That's why I didn't let them fix it because I hadn't been there for many days... Very bad!

I would usually spend time in Newtown or in centre so I found this a bit outside of these areas but great bus service into centre and beyond . Taxi back from Newtown between 11/13 euro .i did have an issue with shower tray filling up but once I reported the issue they were quick to sort it 👍

Clean, spacious and a great location.

Clean and spacious apartment. Close to the beach, supermarket and with everything needed for self catering. Transfers were easy to the apartment. Great value for money.

The pool area wasn’t inviting. Right next to a nursery which was quite loud so we didn’t use it. Can’t be helped by the owners but weekend stays are probably much more relaxing. I’ll think about that next time. Quite a noisy building. Building works, walking around and other apartments, the noise echos.

Holiday in Benidorm

Penthouse was on 5th floor 1st building. Small balcony overlooking run down yard and old apartments opposite. No sea views unless you put half your body out small bedroom window and you'd get a glimmer. Heavy rains flooded the apartment. The description of apartment and outside space on booking. Com totally misleading. Outdoor area very shabby green carpet spread across ground torn and split totally unsafe for elderly walking across .Couldn't sit outside or use pool due to construction on site on ground floor beside pool . Outside space totally needs renovation. Sofa totally uncomfortable. When opened it was split in three sections depending on how you moved you where either pinched in the hip or the legs. Balcony was tiny we expected panoramic and sea views .We were disappointed from arrival. We had two bookings one for Penthouse and one for Superior apt on 11th floor according to your confirmation details. We got neither. Construction work caused disturbance both on top of our floor and on ground floor areas unable to send you videos. Between flooding of apt and terrible weather we were unable to venture out for 3 days

The apartment is very clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated.

The noise. I was woken up at 8am with construction works on the complex right outside my window, I should have been informed of this when booking and either offered a discount or given the option to cancel. I didn´t stay there the second night and paid for a hotel closer to the centre. Also, the neighbours upstairs are very noisy, music, dragging furniture and screaming children. Location wise, its much further out from the centre than I expected and there were no passing taxis around.

Property not far from beach and can easily be reached within 5-10 minutes. There is a bus stop within 50 metres from property and is only 1.60 Euros to any where in Benidorm, good value. The property was lovely and clean with access to all levels served by an elevator. Ideal for a family of 4 or friends travelling together.

This part of Benidorm was much quieter at this time of year, so we had to travel to opposite end of city for more choice of restaurants and shops. That said, the beaches in the vicinity where our property was situated are beautiful and, later in season the area would be ideal as more restaurants etc. would be open. We did not dislike area, just wrong time of year.

Comfortable and value for money!

property was modern and had all the necessities! Beds were really comfortable and we had lots of wardrobe room. Smart tv made the stay more homely! The staff were really helpful and lovely considering the language barrier. The area was perfect, about 10 minutes drive from the centre of Benidorm but still had lots going on around us. We enjoyed our stay so much! Would definitely visit again'
