Date of our recent stay 26th October – 30th October. Over the past two years we have had the pleasure of staying in your hotel six times at a cost of more than two thousand Euros, unfortunately our recent stay was disappointing. The changes to the rooms have taken away that homely comfortable feeling, for instance, no drapes at the window just blank blackout curtains, no tea making facility, only two glasses so if one wants a drink you have to use the one you cleaned your teeth in. Lack of wall pictures. There were no welcoming bottles of water in the fridge, also no upgrade to the uncomfortable furniture on the balcony. What happened to the fluffy bath towels in the shower room the ones supplied were little better than kitchen versions. Although advertised as being available the Wi-Fi system constantly went off ruining the entertainment from our mobile equipment and also, in one period the air conditioning refused to function. The shortage of staff meant when the weather blew a glass off the table on the balcony the response to clear the broken remains took twenty hours to clear it up, in the meantime the excellent room cleaning service had cleaned it up, and although we had asked for a replacement glass when we reported the event none was forthcoming so we bought one from a Chinese shop. We tried to use the phone to all reception but it did not work. There was one redeeming feature of the stay and that is tea mugs instead of cups at breakfast, but otherwise disappointing. Percy W.
