The location is fantastic and ideal for walking. Unfortunately, the weather in early spring was very poor. A place to stay in the summer.
When we arrived the key safe was broken. We had to wait 40 minutes for the housekeeper to come back with an alternative key. Fortunately it wasn’t raining at that point, but this would have been a major issue an hour later when it started to pour with rain as there was nowhere to shelter.
The facilities are very dated. We stayed here 10 years ago and the kitchen equipment and bedding seemed to be the same as then. The accommodation is not so cheap to justify such poor fittings. The owner needs to spend some money on improving the property
