if you dont want hotness and sweating, skip this one

the hosts were great

The apartment was in the hills and not recommended for children or people who don't want to walk. The worst thing is that the whole apartment did not have air conditioning. It is said on the site, but since we are 21st century, and it is summer on a turistic place with 40 degrees temperature, and since the air conditioning is one of of the main living conditions, no one could expect that or even check that.

Incredible, the best welcome we’ve ever received.

About the accommodation: It’s a spacious apartment with everything we needed for either a short or long stay. It has a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms — one with a double bed and the other with three single beds — a good bathroom, and a peaceful location that’s still easily accessible to the city. Even though it’s a bit far, a taxi from the uphill spot near the bus station to the apartment costs only €3.00. About the way we were treated: Out of all the trips I’ve taken, this was the best welcome I’ve ever received at an accommodation. My girlfriend and I felt like we were arriving at a family member’s home. We didn’t have internet to call a taxi, and our host picked us up and brought us back to the station — and didn’t accept any payment for it. Since it was a holiday and everything was closed, we weren’t sure if we’d be able to buy food, so they brought us a delicious meal. Not to mention the tips they gave us about the cities and the many great conversations we had. Of course, the city is beautiful, but honestly, we’re already looking forward to going back to Herceg Novi just to see these amazing hosts again, who treated us like family. I 100% recommend this accommodation and will definitely return someday.

Enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and green. The hostess was very friendly and kind. Giving us herbal tea and pomegranate cordial. Beautiful view of the sea from front. It is quite a walk up up but doable or you can get a taxi from the main street below for 3 euro.

Great host who even heated our pizza for us. Just watch that as the bench top oven was removed due to lack of use. Apartment had loads of room.

Big climb up the hill on bikes and wouldn't want to walk back up. Although you are up quite high there is no sea view from the apartment.

It was a great stay

Very nice, clean and spacious apartment. 15 minute walk to Herceg Novi old city and 20 minute walk to the beach. Can be a good idea to take a taxi to return due to uphill location. But, walking back was also not bad in the evening.

I spent 1 night at this apartment with my partner and we had a WONDERFUL stay. First of all, the apartment is big, clean, well-equipped and perfectly comfortable. The whole neighborhood is very nice, with pretty views and houses. The hosts are amazing, very welcoming and kind. We had a problem with our car as soon as we arrived and they helped us in every way possible, from finding a place for the second night to calling a mechanic and even driving us to the repair shop. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone visiting Herceg Novi. Thanks again for the amazing stay!

The place is 20 minutes walk from the town center, which isn’t a big deal but if you drive by car the road is very narrow and uphill, just be prepared. ;)

The freezer did not have a handle but worked well, and the counter stove/oven although they work also have seen better days. The pullout couch and chair are no longer comfortable.

The door of the bedroom with 3 beds is loud when being opened. I woke up everytime the door was opened at nights. Everything else was perfekt.

Friendly host, bug apartment, clean, car park is easy and right by the room, good facilities.

The road is steep so cars' engines are noisy. There was a piano playing at 9pm (very nice classical piece, but we expected quietness at this time). The bathroom is nice, but smells a bit.
