I loved how the hosts welcomed us and kept in contact with us the entire way.
Nothing that was controlled by anyone because the rain made the roads horrible but nothing to dampen our stay

The location on the farm was great with a beautiful view over the foothills of the Eastern Cape mountains. The two main bedrooms (with en-suite bathrooms) had beautiful views. The kitchen is well equipped and we liked the attention to detail. The veranda was ideal for sundowners while watching the sun set.
We wanted to stay over on a farm, and did not mind the dirt road from the nearby town. The dirt road from the gate to the beautiful cottage was not quite suitable for our vehicle with low clearance as our vehicle struggled in the mud (as it had rained the day or two before) and over the 'heaps' of soil put across the road to facilitate water runoff.
