Food at the Lodge was very nice, and the service excellent, whilst we were there, quite a few local residents frequented the bar and restaurant, which was a good indicator. Its location is perfect for anyone travelling to the Drakensberg, and surrounding countryside including Lady Grey, Barclay East, Matatiele, and into Lesotho and KwaZulu-Natal.
There was nothing that we did not like.

We love the location of Intaba lodge. It's a beautiful setting. The family room and patio is large and spacious and the manageress was very accommodating with our dog, Jinx.
We took our dog for a walk on the boardwalk, and there were two missing slats. Her back legs slipped through the hole and she fell into the dam below. She's okay, but it would be an idea to get that fixed. We were also unable to get TV service to watch the World Cup. Nevertheless, it's a lovely place, especially if you go in the week when the bar is open. We were there on Sunday, when it's closed. We are return customers and would visit again.

Lovely quiet rustic setting, very welcoming hosts, on site bar and restaurant.
Room was cold and the two bar heater only warmed it up a little.
