We arrived quite late however it was a pleasant surprise to wake up to the sheep header starting his day and overlooking a beautiful peaceful dam. It's a very sweet basic old cottage that clearly carries history. It would be wonderful to know more on it. Value for money definitely! Clean and delivers your basic needs!
Everything for the price was an absolute worth while but a few recommendations would include, would for the indoor fireplace, better stoppers on the curtain railing as we pulled them off. A welcome information sheet on property info and location. Maybe some info on cottage history and what to do in the area. One of the bedroom lights didn't work but a magneto light was provided. A light switch was exposed which can be a bit of a hazard. Bedding was great, nice and warm but a little heater could be a plus for cold nights as it seems to drop quite a bit in temperature. Please note people over 1.7m, the house is from old Dutch settlers so quite low door and shower lines, although it plays to the charm of the building.
